It’s a Sorry World
It’s a sorry world we in which we live.
We live in a world where cold-blooded killers like Stanley “Tookie” Williams are revered by the liberal elite, and innocent unborn babies are murdered every day all under the banner of choice.
We live in a world where Israel is condemned for defending itself with kid gloves while Hamas, a terrorist organization which has murdered thousands of Jews, is celebrated by the world press.
We live in a world where 90 year old grandmothers and six year old boys are stripped searched at the airport while terrorists on the “no fly” lists go straight to the plane unimpeded. Isn’t political correctness just grand?
We live in a world where free speech is heralded by the liberals as long as it pertains to pornographic offensive art or the burning of our flag. But God forbid that some U.S. teens had the audacity to wear patriotic clothing, which paid homage to the U.S.A., to a high school in the U.S. Go figure that one out.
We live in a world where peaceful Tea Party activists are portrayed as barbarians storming the gate while union thugs beat people down in the street without an eyebrow being raised.
We live in a world where second-rate comics and first-rate liars can steal a senatorial election. Thanks Minnesota, we owe you one.
We live in a world where a foreign leader can address congress and excoriate one of our states for having the gall to actually enforce our laws and not only receive a standing ovation from the democrats but to also receive the clapping approval of our president.
We live in a world where anti-semitism is chic as long as it doesn’t involve Mel Gibson or his dad. Helen Thomas said what many think. It’s unfortunate for her that old age has removed the filter between her brain and mouth.
We live in a world where a wimpy president that couldn’t bust a grape or crack an egg threatens to kick someone’s behind just to impress Spike Lee. Contrived “bad assness” is sad to watch.
We live in a world where hard work and achievement are punished by excessive taxation. And all the while multitudes of able-bodied slackers are sitting on their arses in their taxpayer-subsidized housing, munching on chips which were bought with government issued foodstamps while talking on their free government provided cellphone. I have no use for anyone that won’t carry their own water.
We live in a world where self esteem in children is all that parents worry about. Good citizenship and respect for others has been tossed out the window. Now the rest of us are left with a bunch of selfish, self-centered, unpatriotic brats to contend with. There is not enough a-whippings to go around.
We live in a world where Dan Quayle was made “dunce for life” because he left the “e” out of potatoes. Now we have a president who stated that he had been to 57 states and still had three more to visit. And we’re told that he is the smartest man to ever inhabit the Oval Office. The average five year old knows how many states there are. And let’s not forget Joe Biden. Most days he doesn’t even know what planet he’s on.
We live in a world where a prominent liberal politician can leave a poor helpless pregnant girl to die in a sinking submerged automobile and get completely away with it. Then forty years later he gets a hero’s send-off when he finally assumes room temperature. I seriously doubt that God is as tolerant as society.
We live in a world where a war veteran has to threaten to file suit so that he can fly Old Glory in the window of his home.
We live in a world where many think that sharia law should be allowed in muslim communities in this country. Yet the same people would have a running fit if they heard a christian prayer being uttered in a public setting.
We live in a world where our president declared that our’s is not a christian nation. He then stated that our country is one of the largest muslim nations in the world. Seemingly, he relates better to our enemies than he does with the nation he was elected to lead.
We live in a world where a nutjob that believes that an island can be overturned and capsized from overpopulation is elected to hold a seat in congress. If you don’t know, I’ll let you guess which party with which he is affiliated. People like this are deciding our future.
We live in a world where the government will cut off precious water which is the lifeblood of a farming community to protect a minnow that wasn’t even on anyone’s radar screen.
We live in a world where terrorists fly jets into skyscrapers, kill thousands of innocent people, and behead live hostages for the world to see. But we’re not suppose to call them terrorists because we might hurt their feelings.
We live in a world where condoms are passed out in school while prayer in school is taboo. Then we wonder why young people lack morals.
We live in a world where treason against our country is treated like jaywalking. Bill Clinton and Jane Fonda are prime examples of which I opine.
We live in a world where alternative lifestyles are lauded and traditional families and values are under constant attack.
The bottom line is that we live in a world where our country is going to hell in the proverbial handbasket. We need to ask ourselves, what are we going to do about it?
