A campaign for liberty in KS-03

Just this week, former Kansas State Representative Patricia Lightner announced her intention to run for Congress in the 3rd District of Kansas, challenging Congressman Dennis Moore, who has held the seat since 1998.  Prior to 1998, the seat was comfortably Republican, but Moore has held the seat comfortably since 2002, the last super-close race in the district, largely on a reputation as a blue-dog, though is record is anything but, particularly this past session.

With the potential of a national tidal wave ala 1994 becoming all the more possible, districts like KS-03 may very well come into view, particularly with its political demographics.  What will be required is a strong candidate with a strong message who has a grassroots strategy that can win.

Patricia Lightner is a pro-life, fically conservative former State Representative who is running a campaign based on a fundamental theme of liberty.  Just today, she launched a video on her website outlining this theme, along with her background and basic principles.
