The WSJ has an article "Loose Lips on Syria", that 'bylined' by Drudge as "Brief and Limited"
The Washington Post has the bombing at "no more than two days," though long-range bombers could "possibly" join the missiles.
I wonder if this is Obama's version of Pres. Bush's "Shock and Awe". It appears once again, the War Machine that is the United States Government is gearing up for a protracted war, on other people's soil, for other people's needs, backed by other people's nations with not real storyline or desired outcome.
What is the game plan? - Not telling.
How do we know we win? - Not telling.
Who is the primary aggressor? - U.S.
One more war is on the horizon with no plan for 'win'. This falls in line with Pres. Obama's world view that all people are equal. That there are no winners of losers, just participants. Win? We don't need no stink'n win. What we do need is to blow off a couple cruise missals. That is how we 'make work'. From a candidate that professed that war was not the answer, and that he would be 'bringing our troops home', he sure is getting us into a lot of wars. Wars without end.
If you knock down a hornets nest, and do not kill all the inhabitants, and burn the nest, it will be rebuilt the next day.
If you poke your enemy in the eye, and do not consume him, he will stab you in the back.
If you are not ready to conquer a nation, install your own government and enslave it's inhabitants, then you, most likely, should not
be too willing to depose it's leaders.
I don't think we are going to survive this.
