In-Depth Investigation of “L’Affaire Greer”: Part One: The Mugshot

I am quietly proud I was early on the bandwagon in the Republican Party of Florida in the effort to oust Jim Greer as RPOF Chairman.  Read about it here, here, here, here, here, here and here.  But, enough gloating.  Right now, the burning question is, “What, the in the name of all that is holy, did Jim Greer do to his face?” Above is a picture of Chairman Greer at the zenith of his powers.

Now, Here is a Greer’s Mugshot of 2 June 2010:…It looks like he has had some work done. Smooth forehead, arched eyebrows, something not quite right about the upper lip. You be the judge. I feel that he has spent some time since his resignation in February “Getting Ready For His Close-up“..but that’s just my opinion.
Now, I’m not one to pile on, but real men, take REAL mugshots. Real men look pissed when they are hauled in and by God, let the camera know it.  Take for example Rip Torn, Hollywood Actor and a man not afraid to order his whiskey neat….
Or Nick Nolte, for example.  Now here is a man’s Man.  Been breaking women’s hearts and men’s faces since the 1960′s and despite taking some substance obviously to excess (and probably only available in L.A.) and then pulled in for the his involuntary portrait, he still manages to cop an attitude that he really doesn’t give a damn and a wise man would best keep his distance.
And let’s face, no guy wants to be hauled in.  It’s a pain in the ass and no fun.  Why try to hide it?  The late great Gary Coleman best summed this feeling up…
Other guys, well, even after they have led the cops on a crack fueled car chase over half the Carolina countryside, still manage a smile for the camera… For when your the King of Soul, it really ain’t no big thing…
Sometimes, however, a guy will have guilty painted all over his face and you just know the public defender is going to have to cop a plea…
Only the very rare man, however, is cool no matter what the circumstances…
In summary, you can tell a lot about a man from his mugshot.  It is a window to the man’s soul, whether it be tortured, arrogant, angry or resigned to fate.  Or, it just might remind you that a creep is a creep now matter what he has accomplished in life….  All Jim Greer has managed to do is look just more phony…
