FCC goes forward with Net Neutrality

Two day after a report that the FCC was considering backing down from their plan of reclassifying the Internet at as telecommunications service in order to enforce “Net Neutrality”, the FCC has decided to go ahead with the plan regardless, according to the web site Electronista.

Others have discussed the concept of “net neutrality” far more in depth than I could possibly do so, but just as a basic point, any Federal regulatory decision based on “fairness” is rarely if ever a good thing.
