I just read an article by Michelle Malkin at Human Events about the movie titled "The Company You Keep".
"The Company You Keep" is directed by Robert Redford and stars himself and Susan Sarandon. It is a fictitious account of a bank robbery in the 1970's committed by two members of the The Weather Underground who end up shooting an off duty police officer acting as a security guard for the bank. Well the problem with this is that Redford is romanticizing these bank robbers and Hollywood is gushing over this movie and saying it talks about true patriotism and about people who stood up for their beliefs. The reality is, is that The Weather Underground were a bunch of evil bloodcrazed killers who yes, toted guns.
Well, we can all see the irony and hypocrisy in that these are the same people that ultimately want to take away our 2nd Ammendment rights. But that is not really what I want to say.
What I want to say is HELL NO! Let's fight this one and let's raise some serius Cain over this. It makes me even madder that the Left has the stones to put this trash out after they went to all the trouble to lecture me about love, rainbows and unicorns in regards to SSM. On that point only, I say I have had enought!
So, will others join me in putting a stop to this? Maybe we can employ the help of our Conservative Fightclub on this issue. Or get the Tea Party involved. I just don't think we need to take this crap. What do you all think? Am I just being oversensitive? Or, can this be something we here at Redstate can make a stand on? I am looking forward to your feed back.
