Back in history, a few year prior to D-Day, America was referred to by Admiral Yamamoto as a “sleeping giant” —
“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”
The debacle at the Arizona border is not lost on the average American voter, with tens of thousands of Mexican children crossing into US creating havoc in shelters and straining Arizona resources, and no doubt serving as future anchors for their entire families to come after them. With the economy slowed to almost negative digits, and the VA Administration/Bergdahl disasters played out in the national media, we may be witnessing the beginning of a national house cleaning that will reverberate into November.
The President wanted to “fundamentally transform America”, but America may no longer be buying. The resulting debacle in Arizona due to the near zero enforcement of US immigration laws along the US borders by US DEA and ICE as mandated from Holder’s DOJ, is finally dawning on the American electorate as far away as Virginia. Cantor’s primary loss serves as a warning to Paul Ryan and any other politician who thinks the American electorate is only motivated by the latest antics of Honey-Boo-Boo and the Kardashians.
Americans are watching their well-paying, middle-class jobs disappear, their homes’ property values deteriorating or stagnant after six years, adult children living at homes because they can’t find jobs, crushing taxes, and now we’re facing a potential 150,000 illegal immigrant children coming across the border with our tax dollars paying for doctors, shelter, lawyers, education. These facts are not lost on Virginia voters, nor all Americans. Tired of being played for fools and watching our American values being trashed in the name of political correctness and strawmen, the “sleeping giant” is coming to life and fingers crossed, a tidal wave awaits in November.
