Vote counting done. Bill Brady wins GOP governor primary pending Dillard decision to pursue recount.

406 votes.

Unbelievable.  The GOP has to be happy with Pat Quinn winning his primary with a 25% job approval.  This shapes up to be a very interesting election in Illinois with a downstate conservative GOP candidate facing off against a liberal representing the Chicago political machine.  The big winner in this may be Mark Kirk because if Dillard concedes, Brady figures to haul in huge numbers of downstate conservative voters.  I am really looking forward to Election Day this November.
