(Updated:) Pelosi’s next pressure momentum tactic #3. March 18-19, D-Weekend at the nation’s capital.

No details on the reconciliation bill as I can seem to get access to.  All I see is a stupid schedule.   Dems hiding the ball here?  Someone help me get a copy of it so I can rip it apart.  All right, here’s the deal.  This has been going the way I thought.  This could either be just kabuki theater and Pelosi has the votes or I believe for the time being that this is a pressure momentum tactics like we have seen in #1 and #2.  She is still trying to create momentum through the press and legislative scheduling.

Now from now until whenever this vote is taken,  keep burning up the phone lines.  If you can afford to or live regionally in the Washington, D.C., make it a two day Saturday-Sunday stay.  The National Council of LaRaza will be marching on Sunday against Obamacare for different reasons because they want healthcare for illegal immigrants.  It’s that immigration issue rearing its ugly head.

I believe when the vote is called for, I think that Pelosi is going to have a large amount of block time for the vote and floor whip the undecided congressmen because she will want them away from the constituent calls in their offices.  She only wants her or her whip lieutenants on the floor in front of these wavering congressmen.  She will do this until she is able to get 216 and then cut off the vote.  This is a tactic similar to what Dennis Hastert did on the Medicare Part D vote on legislation.  The vote could very well carry on all night and if it does, we must not sleep, must not be afraid of losing sleep and let Obamacare take over the country without a fight.  I believe this is going to go the Slaughter Solution.  However, whether it be the Slaughter Solution or a direct up-or-down vote, if this passes, the Democrats are finished for awhile.  On top of that, this will be challenged in the courts because of problems with Article 1 Section 7 or if it does get passed with an up-or-down vote, the legislation will be challenged because of constitutionality problems with the Commerce Clause (the individual mandate).  I believe this tactic will be used because of a number of reasons but the number one reason is that Obama postponed his Asia trip until June.  He needs to remain in Washington for this.  Really CRAZY thought:  If I am not mistaken, I believe the public is allowed inside the House.  Remember what happened on the House floor when the GOP was demanding drill here drill now legislation?  If this is a fact, we could legitimately offset Pelosi’s lieutenants by whipping these Democrats on the floor as well whether it be from the gallery or on the floor.  Either way, it will be historic.

THIS IS NOT A DONE DEAL BY ANY STRETCH.  We need to show up in Washington and stay this weekend.  Fill up the Capitol, the mall, every crany of Washington D.C.  If you can’t make it to Washington D.C., burn up those lines and keep them clogged.  Here is the target list once again.  I have added Joseph Cao (H/T louisiana) to this list because as incredible as it sounds, his staffers are saying he is undecided.  Also, question the Democrats who voted against the GOP resolution today that would ban the Slaughter Solution and only allow an up-or-down vote, particularly Jason Altmire.

Jason Altmire (PA-4), Brian Baird (WA-3), John Barrow (GA-12), John Boccieri (OH-16), Rick Boucher (VA-9), Allen Boyd (FL-2), Travis Childers (MS-1), Lincoln Davis (TN-4), Betsy Markey (CO-4), Jim Matheson (UT-2), Scott Murphy (NY-20), Glenn Nye (VA-2), Heath Shuler (NC-11), John Tanner (TN-8 ), Harry Teague (NM-2). Suzanne Kosmas (FL-24), Henry Cuellar (TX-28), Tom Perriello (VA-5),  John Barrow (GA-1), Sanford Bishop (GA-2), Tim Bishop (NY-1), Gabrielle Giffords (AZ-8 ), Baron Hill (IN-9), Paul Kanjorski (PA-11), Alan Mollohan (WV-1), Solomon Ortiz (TX-27), Bill Owens (NY-23), Tom Perriello (VA-5), Earl Pomeroy (ND-All), Nick Rahall (WV-3), Zack Space (OH-18 ), Kathy Dahlkemper (PA-3), and Brad Ellsworth (IN-8 ), and last but not least Joseph Cao (R-LA).

It also wouldn’t be bad to give the hard no Dems a call to make sure they are still on board.  Particularly, Chet Edwards (D-TX).  Pray for the Republic, fight for the Republic and to quote the state phrase of New Hampshire — “Live Free or Die.”

UPDATE:  View the full reconciliation bill here.  One phrase came to my mind when reading this:  FISCAL TIME BOMB.  The unions’ caddy health plans won’t be hit until 2018.  They might not even see the hit because this country will be bankrupt within 10 years or less.  Lots of other juicy tidbits in here but I won’t get into them.  Keep the heat on those congressmen.
