You don’t have to be a dog lover to be touched by this story. Tanner is a Golden Retriever who is blind in both eyes due to being born with cataracts. He also suffers from a seizure disorder, which causes him to lose control of his bladder and bowels. He was eventually given up to a dog rescue organization, and was almost put down.
Enter Blair – a Labrador Retriever who was having trouble socializing after being shot. Blair and Tanner quickly bonded to the point where Tanner no longer has seizures, and Blair has become more sociable with humans and dogs alike. The best part? Blair acts as Tanner’s seeing eye dog by leading him around on a leash.
Both are currently up for adoption. They’re only available as a pair, though! They’re located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
