When conservatives and Republicans display their religious expression, we hear endless diatribes from the Democrat media about how they are religious kooks and/or are trying to establish a Christianist theocracy upon an unsuspecting, gullible population. But when Democrats invoke God or their religion, it's just their faith and it's a good thing. Especially when that faith espouses leftist extremism.
Here's a partial transcript provided by the 'Busters [emphasis from original]:
AL SHARPTON: I talked with President Obama in an exclusive interview for my syndicated radio show just moments ago. And I asked him about today's news: "how do you respond to their [the Super Committee] announcing that they can't reach a deal, and where do we go from here?
BARACK OBAMA: Look, there's no doubt that I'm disappointed that not just Congress generally, but the Republicans in particular, are not willing to put serious revenue on the table as part of a balanced plan . . . So the position they're taking is short-sighted. Uh, but, uh, you know, I, uh, it, it, it must be my, uh, religious faith, reverend, cause, uh, hope springs eternal and I continue to believe that at some point common sense will prevail and we'll be able to work something out.
In the newspeak of what Democrats/liberals/progressives want us to believe is a tenet of how they see Christianity, the Biblical phrase from Jesus (paraphrasing) "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, render unto God what is God's" means the present Caesar, ie. the government, owns everything and what he have is as a result of its good graces. Never mind that this belief is nowhere in the Bible, and especially not advocated by Jesus. It's similar to the Democrat/liberal/progressive belief, according to what they is in the Bible, rich conservatives won't go to heaven; again, the Bible, along with Jesus, decries greed, not wealth.
Remember, Obama went to only one "church" during his lifetime prior to becoming President:
The only evidence for Obama's Christianity is that he faithfully attended the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ for 20 years.
Yes, the guy bellowing "God damn America!" is the one vouching for Obama's Christianity. That's like saying you got sober with the help of your A.A. sponsor Lindsay Lohan...
Attending Wright's church is the conscious, calculated decision to immerse yourself in hate-filled demagoguery and call it "Christianity..."
But it [liberation theology] was espoused in the only church Obama ever attended regularly -- for 20 years, no less -- was married in and had his daughters baptized in. The title of Obama's autobiography came from the title of one of Wright's sermons and snippets from Wright's sermons have appeared in Obama's work.
So the sole evidence of Obama's supposed Christianity is his longtime pastor, who everyone admits is a racist nut.
I've never believed in the notion that Obama is a Muslim. I'm with Coulter; Obama is an atheist. Only a Democrat/liberal/progressive atheist who suckers people into believing the atheist is a Christian would claim a "religious faith" gives the atheist hope God (or some "god") would force Republicans to raise taxes on the rich. And everyone else.
