NOAA: “Consensus” is to be taken with a grain of salt… (except when it comes to AGW!!)

I’m a ham radio operator (license N0XMZ – for any fellow hams who want to know), so I pay close attention to a phenomenon called the solar cycle. Basically, it’s an 11-year cycle of what we call “sunspots”. Sunspots emit radiation that ionize the upper atmosphere to the point where our shortwave radio signals can travel around the world by bouncing off this ionized layer. | Read More »

    Dallas Tea Party in Pictures

The event was extraordinary! Thousands of people showed up at City Hall, and not just us rednecks. Everyone was represented: old, young, white, black, hispanic, every group in which the liberals like to put us. Thankfully, I didn’t see any ACORN-like troublemakers on the prowl. I must have taken a hundred pics and a few videos. Here are some of my favorites.

The end of America? Terence Corcoran at FP asks…

This guy writes, very eloquently, what I’ve been thinking lately. His piece at Financial Times is rather frightening and I share his concerns. He doesn’t offer much in the way of a solution though. Frankly, I don’t see the Democrats holding onto Congress after 2010. The only thing that can save us is our ability to vote these economic terrorists out of Congress and put | Read More »

    A Plea to Anyone at

In my 14+ years of using the internet, I’ve never come across such a problem. I can’t be the only one affected by this. It’s like I’m in the Twilight Zone. I cannot log in to I’ve been trying for WEEKS. From different computers even, at home and at work. I enter my email address and password, click “Go” and nothing happens. And I mean NOTHING. President Obama, please take a lesson from President Kennedy

Appearently there wasn’t much “hope” on Wall Street today as the Dow tumbled another 300 points. Funny thing, as I understand most Wall Street types are liberals (which is about as baffling to me as Stockholm syndrome). I don’t claim to be an economist but I have made what seems to be a rather elementary observation.   This past summer, Obama and McCain were pretty much neck-and-neck | Read More »

    Freedom vs. Equality in America

This is my last essay in American History class. I am so glad this class is over. Although I learned a few things that will no doubt make me mor e dangerous, I absolutely hated it thanks to the overwhelming distortions and even lies perpetrated by the liberal establishment in higher education. To make a long story short, I practically screamed at my textbook and videos | Read More »

My history class essay… on the subject of history.

I started college this year at the tender young age of 35. I’m enjoying it so far. Due to leftist bias in higher education, my American history class has been somewhat challenging. I recently wrote a short essay on the subject of history. I’ve aced all my essays so far, so I hope the prof. is fair in judging this one. I thought it was fairly | Read More »

Could someone PLEASE put this “bailout” thing in layman’s terms?

I’m somewhat embarassed to write this, but for the love of God, could someone please explain to those of us who aren’t experts in economics just what is going on with this $700 billion bailout plan? I’ve tried to understand, really I have, but it’s just not sinking in. So some banks wrote some mortgages to people with bad credit or insufficient income. But I’ve | Read More »

Tell NBC what you think of Saturday Night Live

I do not watch NBC, CBS, or ABC, ever, except for NFL games. Today, I decided I’d ban NBC from my TV even for football. I didn’t see the Saturday Night Live skit where they joked about incest in Sarah Palin’s family but I heard about it today. In case you missed it, they cracked jokes about Todd Palin having sex with his daughters. I | Read More »

Obama tells supporters to “argue and get in their face”

This headline on Drudge is just too tasty to pass up. The Chosen One, who has promised to “bring everyone together” without that “partisan bickering that Americans are so tired of”, is letting it all hang out in San Francisco. The San Fran Chronicle article highlights all kinds of insults the Obamassiah is hurling at John McCain. The loose nut goes on to say, “I | Read More »
