Mitch McConnell, slave to his own lust for power

Sorry folks, but when I read this I realized why so many of you expected John Roberts to do what the Imperialist Washington elite will not do, because they are addicted to their lust for power.

From AP Minority leader: Odds long to undo health care law

… U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says the odds are against repealing the health care law championed by President Barack Obama…

The Kentucky Republican said Monday it’s hard to unravel something of the magnitude of the 2,700-page health care law, WHAS-TV (http://bit.ly/LSUtqX ) reports.

“If you thought it was a good idea for the federal government to go in this direction, I’d say the odds are still on your side,” McConnell said. “Because it’s a lot harder to undo something than it is to stop it in the first place.”

This is stupid, or more realistically, it is evidence they think we are stupid. The easiest way to stop this is simply not provide any money for implementation and enforcement. If McConnell can’t figure that out, we need someone as majority leader that can. And for the record we should get rid of this guy just out of principle. The progressives have taken over the Democrat party and they are in the middle of a revolution to fundamentally change the government, and McConnell wants to stand up and say, “Hey this looks good to me”.

I don’t know about the rest of you but I have had enough of this. We need to send a message, loud and clear. If the Washington imperialist government cannot work for us, we will work against them.

And for our own protection we need to get serious about eliminating the source of that “lust”. The founders didn’t grant Congress the right to direct taxation, that right was granted with the passage of the 16th Amendment, coincidentally with the election of Woodrow Wilson 100 years ago this year.

Repealing the 16th Amendment, even a serious THREAT that it might be repealed is the only way to bring sanity to Washington. In the mean time how do we get some responsive leaders in the Senate. This attitude of McConnell’s just won’t cut it.
