From Mr. Bentivolio’s Facebook:
Action Alert: Special Election Called!Today, the Governor’s office called a special election to fill Thad McCotter’s seat in Congress and I’m announcing that I am running to fill this vacancy simultaneously as I run to represent the people of the 11th Congressional District in the next Congress!
The Special Election has been set Wednesday, September 5th and I need your help today to make the ballot!
We need to collect 1,000 signatures over the next 10 days to make the ballot for the Special Election. Can you commit to helping us over the next few days by going door to door to collect signatures or by getting petitions signed by your friends and neighbors?
If you are willing to help us make the ballot please contact Tony at 616-724-0088 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Personal Note: Kerry Bentivolio is a great defender of the Constitution. He understands the need for limited government and less spending and less taxes. His opponent, Nancy Cassis, supported raising taxes
and will join the go along, get along politicians in Washington D.C. She is a political opportunist, while Kerry Bentivolio has been doing the hard work by getting on the general election ballot.
Now Mr. Bentivolio needs help getting on the special election ballot due to the resignation of Rep. McCotter. The special election primary will be on September 5, 2012 and the special general election will be held on November 6, 2012 (the same day as election day).
If you have any friends or family in Michigan 11, please encourage them to sign Mr. Bentivolio’s petition by calling Tony (his number is above).
Also, the unfortunate truth about politics is that money
is needed. Please click the link to donate to him if you are financially capable. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
On to Liberty in 2012!
