Hope in blue NJ – Free thinkers
Hope out of the Blue in NJ – we had two young thinkers here tie burning flares to balloons and send them into flight. Then they laughed as the UFO crowd fell over themselves stating that it was a confirmed UFO.
We suffer do to myths, just as Stevie W. sang. Here is the biggest one of them all.
Freeman Dyson – Just when you hoped the NY Times would go out of business. They print a fabulous article. See the New York Times Sunday Magazine, March 29.
Freeman Dyson is on the world’s greatest thinkers. He resides at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, NJ. He is a one of the world’s leading theoretical physicists and mathematicians, famous for his work in quantum field theory, solid-state physics and nuclear engineering. He is so brilliant that Robert Oppenheimer told him to just skip getting a PhD and get in line for the Nobel prize. But Dyson will never get a Nobel, he is too great a thinker and refuses to succumb to “group think”.
He has spent much of his thoughts to pointing out the fallacies of the global warming alarmists. Dyson does acknowledge that the Earth is warming, but states “The average rate of warming of 0.1 to 0.2 degrees Celsius per decade recorded by satellites during the late 20th century falls within known natural rates of warming and cooling over the last 10,000 years” and “there has been no net global warming since 1998”.
He further stated that any global warming model that has been put up for review by the scientific community, “do not begin to describe the real world we live in.”
