Libertarians and traditional conservatives get along?
I just read an article by YouTube blogger and FreedomWorks policy analyst Julie Borowski who’s one of my favorite libertarian thinkers. She mentioned a panel for CPAC this year called “Can Libertarians and Social Conservatives get along?”. Here’s a segment of what she said. Can libertarians and social conservatives find common ground? It’s important to define what it means to be a libertarian. Libertarianism is | Read More »

A Libertarianish Foreign Policy?
I say yes on the spot. Back during the Bush years, we thought we could try democratizing countries the way we did. Looking at Iraq 11 years after we invaded, that type of model has failed miserably. Not against supporting freedom movements like that what happened in Iran in 2009 (which Obama was silent on). But doing so by military force doesn’t work. I advise | Read More »

The Three Legs of the Welfare State
Obviously there’s the three legs of conservatism. Fiscal conservatism, social conservatism and strong foreign policy. Well I present you the three legs of the welfare state. The first is the pay-in system which I categorize Social Security and Medicare to make up since you’re required to pay in order to reap the benefits supposedly (issue in of itself) in later life. The second is government | Read More »
Update On Elections: Senate Races Turn Interesting Corner
On Michigan, Gary Peters is an @$$hole! He viciously attacked a mother with leukemia who had her insurance cancelled due to Obamacare. And he voted for it. You know what, just on that I say screw the pundits. I rate this as leaning R. The Republican candidate Terri Lynn Land was already in a lead in the polls anyway so I don’t why pundits have yet | Read More »
Let’s get out of Afghanistan!
I frankly wonder why the deadline has been pushed back to the end of the year. Now unlike in Iraq, it was initially merited to go into Afghanistan since they were harboring Al Qaeda. But 12 years is TOO long. Longer than WWI and WWII COMBINED and longer than Vietnam. And what have we to show for it? A country that’s still very divided into | Read More »
Piers Morgan is fired (finally)
Well Piers has been given the ax finally due to horrible ratings. I doubt anybody will be missing him. He’s a (words I can only use on twitter) and about time he’d get punished. He was always a horrible debater against really anybody who went up to. We don’t have cable or satellite so I don’t watch CNN. Though even we did I wouldn’t be | Read More »
There’s been proposal introduced that would split California into six different states. There’d be Silicon Valley, South California, West California, Central California, North California and Jefferson. It could well make it to the ballot this YEAR. There’s also similar movements happening in New York where it’d be split into 2 regions (New York and New Amsterdam) and Maryland where the western counties are wanting to | Read More »
Two-In-One Diary ~ The Importance of Religious Liberty/Will There Be A Libertarian President?
This is gonna be something I’ll try to do every once in a while so as to save time. Sometimes the subjects will be related, other times there’ll be as far apart as can be like today. The Importance of Religious Liberty Kristen Powers wrote a ridiculous column calling the religious liberty bill proposed in the KS Legislature anti-gay Jim Crow. While Powers to her | Read More »
Traditional Marriage Fails To Get On Ballot In Indiana
Looks like a state constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage in Indiana won’t be on the ballot until 2016. Though I ask traditional conservatives this; what good by this point does it do passing constitutional amendments when they’re being knocked down left and right? First in Utah, then my state Oklahoma, then Kentucky in cases of out-of-state marriages and latest case is in Virginia. There’s | Read More »
How To Stop The Coming Single-Payer Monster
I recently watched a scary message from a RedState email about the single-payer path Obamacare is suppose to be heading. Many of you probably received and watched the message too. His name is Jud Anglin and he runs a healthcare business in Maryland. We already all know where Obamacare is suppose to be heading. He predicts that in 18-24 months (I think he did the | Read More »
