Last week I released a video on the 2nd Amendment stating well-documented, historical facts about totalitarian leaders and their implementation of gun control laws prior to exterminating millions of their own citizens in 1911 Turkey and 1939 Nazi Germany.
Since I’m pro gun-ownership, I expected some push-back from the usual suspects, but the video landed on a group’s radar who, although fairly insignificant where the public is concerned, is part of the pervasive faction which spreads feigned phony outrage at conservatives across the web at breakneck speeds.
Within hours, this far-left, anti-gun, liberal propaganda wing of the Center for American Progress organization – “Think Progress” – posted a false story with the blazing headline: JOE THE PLUMBER: GUN CONTROL CAUSED THE HOLOCAUST. As of this writing, that headline, or a similar variant thereof, is mentioned on the internet over 500,000 times, including the Associated Press, ABC, USA Today, and the Huffington Post to name a few. But none of these “journalists” checked to see if that is what I actually said.
No matter; the mainstream media has become a propaganda machine. Their strategy is to create a fictional narrative and exploit it to identify, isolate, and destroy their target; it’s right out of the Saul Alinsky handbook. Case in point: Sarah Palin never said she could see Russia from her backyard– that was a Saturday Night Live skit. Same with attributing “strategery” to George W. Bush – that was Will Ferrell.
I guess if you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes a Talking Point the truth, but I’m not going to let them get away with it. They want an apology for trying to “exploit the painful memories of the Holocaust to advance“ my political ambitions. The fact is, this video was to let voters know what I believe about gun rights, and now it’s pretty easy to see that it’s the anti-gun liberals who are really using it to score political points. The only people who claimed to be offended by my video are left-wing liberals who donate to the Democrat Party and want to take your gun away.
The right to bear arms was put in the Constitution so the people of the United States could defend themselves against tyranny and oppression. It would be foolish to think unarmed citizens are the cause of mass murder; it’s the acts of narcissistic tyrants that result in mass murder. But when people are unarmed, it makes it easier and our Founding Fathers knew this.
So why am I telling you all this? It’s pretty simple: you see, the gun hating liberals want to re-write history, and they need people like me to shut up. I, for one, will not.
I am asking you to stand with me and fight this onslaught of lies and distortions. I am running for Congress against Marcy Kaptur, a liberal Democrat who has been in office for nearly 30 years. She’s pro spending, pro big government, pro gun control and received an “F” rating from the NRA for her consistent record of trying to take away your right to bear arms.
Please go to my website and support to my campaign so I can fight to preserve our 2nd Amendment and all the freedoms that make America the greatest country in history.
If you’re a music junkie, then 2015 was not the most terrible year. While there were really only a few major releases, there were plenty of solid ones for you to enjoy (assuming you haven’t already). Kenneth Stokes, a Mississippi councilman in Jackson Ward 3, apparently takes issue with authorities in other jurisdictions making their way into Jackson to chase misdemeanor suspects. He wants them to stay out. He also has quite a bold idea to achieve this goal. Stokes suggests that black leaders get together and throw rocks, bricks, and bottles at police officers from nearby jurisdictions to “send a message that we | Read More »
Ted Cruz is poised to win the Iowa caucuses. Not that I think you can put much stock in the polling, but the RCP Average for Iowa Republican Presidential Caucuses has Cruz ahead by 2.8 points. Cruz is also better organized in the state than is Trump. Cruz has more than 6,000 volunteers helping to knock on doors in Iowa. Trump may be drawing the largest crowds, but his campaign doesn’t seem to have the crucial ground game to get his supporters to the caucuses.
In Stephen King’s post-apocalyptic Western opera Dark Tower Series, the characters frequently say, “The world has moved on.” What they mean by that is that the old ways of doing things have fallen by the wayside as the order and structure of the world as humanity once knew it have fallen apart. For Chris Christie’s Presidential campaign, it is painfully evident that the world has | Read More »
