Dem Rep. Waxman says Adios. Blames TEAparty.
Henry Waxman represents the 33 Congressional district of California and, I’m taking a leap here, conservatives probably won’t be picking up his seat. However, I will say conservatives are instrumental in getting him out of his seat. Even Waxman agrees with me. From the New York Times:
“It’s been frustrating because of the extremism of Tea Party Republicans,” Mr. Waxman said in an interview on Wednesday. “Nothing seems to be happening.
Go ahead, read the article. You know you want to, because the Times practically gushes over his numerous “accomplishments”. The article said one of the “most notable” of these was Obamacare, and citing how Waxman wrote most of it. The rest of the article reads as a laundry list of all things a liberal loves. I read it more as a horror story. No need to bring more of the article over. Suffice to say, if there ever has been a bill from the House in the last 40 years that you thought was unnecessary, freedom choking, or business killing it has a Waxman fingerprint on it somewhere.
Expect to hear or read many more stories praising this Representative over the next week or so. And while the left will be in mourning, conservatives with or without TEAparty ties should use the time to pat yourselves on the back. You’ve earned it.
Gotta give a h/t to Hotair for this one.
