If I'm on drugs and I get saved, what's the point of me being saved and no longer using drugs? My father, who is now with the Lord, used to drink beer before he got saved near the later stages of his life, what was the point of him putting down the can of beer and picking up the bible and getting saved? What kind of message are we sending as children of God and follows of the word if we tell folks in the world: "I mean nah see you can get saved right, but you don't have to necessarily stop getting lifted and drinking alcohol"
Listen to the book: "I, therefore a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called"-Ephesians 4:1
The book, once more: Romans 12:2- "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve of what God's will is, his good, pleasing, and perfect will."
This is nothing but a bunch of young people who want to have one foot in line with Christ and the other foot in line with the world, because they ultimately care more about coming off a certain way that is approved of by the world than what is pleasing and approved of in the sight of God. They want to be "Cool Christians", bunk that, being a cool Christian don't matter come time to face the judgement seat homey.
To be a Christ follower is to be Christ like, living holy according to the word of God and setting yourself apart from what the world sees as acceptable and right in their eyes, which is wicked, sinful, and of Satan in the eyes of your Father who is in Heaven.
Again fam, I give you the book: John 15:19- "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own; but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."
What was the point of Christ? The word became flesh, he died and was buried; rose from the dead and now sits beside the Father in Heaven. What was the point of all those precious events? So that we could seek salvation through him whose blood was shed on the cross for the whole of the human race. The blood was shed so that we could have a chance to set ourselves apart from evil and sin in the world.
When you become saved and you're water baptized in the name of Jesus, that means every foul thing you did in your life when you were in the world should no longer be apart of your life as a Christian.
All things are new in your salvation in Jesus Christ, not some things are new but the rest is still the same. My goodness what is wrong with American Christians man seriously?
Instead of spreading the good news about Jesus Christ we're out here telling people who already smoke pot and do drugs that it should be legal for them to do so. Never mind the fact that they're on drugs, they should have a right to do drugs.
How does that sound to you family? The Christians are now telling folks its okay to smoke weed, it should be legal.
Pat Robertson the most false devil in Christian clothing, dude is wolf straight up, he was saying this stuff about legalizing marijuana two years ago. He said we need to legalize it and tax it.
I can hear these false Christians now: "Uh well see uh what will happen is uh, see we legalize it and then we help them get off the drug because instead of putting them in jail and wasting money we can just help them" Wrong, they're going to want to do it more because they know now there won't be any consequence.
I can see some of these false believers coming out for the legalization of prostitution next. "We don't need to be putting these women in jail, sex is a personal choice." Okay so what's the difference? We got more unsaved hookers than saved former hookers, what's the different whether we legalize it or keep it illegal? Ya'll weren't trying to save hooker's souls or the potheads but now if we legalize this monkey junk we can better preach the gospel to them?
To all the young Christians out there, let me tell you the world is not worth compromising who you are in Christ and what the word says. I just get annoyed by these Christians who are so insecure in their own faith they crawl to the world looking for attention because they don't have their mind right in what the word of God says. They're so focused on the wrong things they trip themselves up time and time again.
There should be no reason why 50% of Christians regardless of age support legalizing marijuana.
See this is why I don't believe God blessed this nation. I just don't believe this nation is as divine or as special as people try to make it out to be. How can it when even the Christians act a fool?
You have a majority of Catholics who support homosexuality and the redefinition of marriage, and 50% of Christians support making pot legal. Let me tell you something if you don't think Christians can go to hell you better ask somebody who knows the book, because when it comes to the judgement seat anybody can get it.
If a Christians is smoking weed you don't think that's going against God's word? When the book says be not like the world, what do you think the world advocates? Using drugs, drinking alcohol, fornication, homosexuality, anti-Christ behavior; you like the world then huh?
Pick your poison, go head. You don't have to fall in line with all of those worldly things but even if you do one of those some of the time, you're still of the world because Christ did none of that. Christ ain't smoke, he didn't fornicate, he wasn't a drunkard, he wasn't a homosexual.
But this is 2013 America and you know demography is destiny I suppose. So Christians have to adapt and expand the tent like Republicans because its more about a political stance than anything else. Politics is such in this country even our faith is poll tested.
I'm staying true to Christ who is in me and I'll never give in to this world. I don't care if I lose all my friends and trust me I've lost friends I've known for years because of my faith and how I feel about certain issues, but that stuff won't move me no more than a cool breeze moves a boulder. Christ already said what will happen to those who choose salvation and the word over the world. I fully expect persecution and I welcome it like a dinner guest.
I promise you, of that 50%, 20% of those young Christians smoke weed on the regular.
I don't know about ya'll but my Christ and the word is forever, play games if you want;
To all you Matthew 7:21-23 false Christians remember what Christ himself will say to you:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Now tell me its worth it. Tell me its worth embracing what the world advocate.
I ain't trying to look stupid when it comes for my life to be judged. This ain't no midterm exam homey it's a final, and you if fail you can't take the class over in summer school.
