I saw this tidbit over at Breitbart (hat tip Dr. Susan Berry). Tonight, Jeb Bush will award Hillary Clinton the Liberty Medal from the National Constitution Center. Says Jeb "Former Secretary Clinton has dedicated her life to serving and engaging people across the world in democracy. These efforts as a citizen, an activist and a leader have earned Secretary Clinton this year's Liberty Medal." Bush is the chairman of the board of trustees of the National Constitution Center.
Really, Jeb? On the eve of the first anniversary of the Benghazi slaughter? I have an idea. Why don't you invite the families of Ambassador Chris Stevens and the other brave souls who were murdered to join you at tonight's festivities? No, not appropriate you say? No more inappropriate than awarding that woman the Liberty Medal. Perhaps she and Obama can display her award next to his Nobel Peace Prize in the National Hall of Shame.
Can someone give me an example of one thing this woman has done in her life that merits an award for anything? It is hard for me to believe anyone would think this is in good taste. How have we come to the point of honoring people for achieving nothing but bad in the world? It boggles the mind.
So, Jeb, if you decide to make a run for the presidency, fail and can't figure out why, reflect on this shameful moment in your life. You'll find your answer.
