The California Republican Party held its convention in Sacramento over the weekend and, ironically, two of its top speakers were from Texas.
Former California Assemblyman Chuck DeVore -- who left the state and moved to Texas in 2011 -- spoke at a banquet Friday night and Karl the "Rover" dominated the convention with speeches and workshops admonishing the beleaguered party delegates to "get off their ass" and rebuild the party.
