Ed Royce, U.S. Representative from California's 39th district (R-Fullerton) and Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs, is presiding over the House's counterpart to yesterday's Senate hearing considering President Obama's request for authorization to attack Syria. Fox is providing this live stream of the hearing.
The same players are on the hot seat: Secretary of State John Kerry, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dempsey.
In the meantime, Senator McCain has done an about face and pulled his support for the resolution in its present form claiming it is too weak in its stated goals. Wonder what really motivated him to climb down off of his war horse? Too much heat in the kitchen? Or something as simple as getting caught playing poker in yesterday's Senate hearing?
Hold onto your hats if you're watching the hearing.
