Kagan will do nothing to change the slim 5-4 majority that upholds the absurd Roe V Wade decision that mandates National abortion policy.

But if the rest of scotus lineup remains the same, and  the judge  who replaces Anthony Kennedy is an Originalist , Roe v Wade is history, as is  EPA v Massachusetts and all the other nonsense that Kennedy joined the majority on days he felt like being an Activist.

And Kennedy has indicated he will retire during the tenure of the next president.

Do you think that Schumer and Leahy and Whitehouse and all the rest of the Leftists in the Senate won’t use the filibuster to stop the nomination of the person that will flush the crown jewel of liberalism (roe v wade) down the toilet?

Are you kidding?  Those clowns will incite riots,  use human shields and get themselves arrested before they vote for cloture on the person that will overturn Roe v Wade..

That is why the only option is to filibuster Kagan and demand the Dems agree to change senate rules to allow for a simple majority for Judicial appointments.

Anything short of that is essentially a vote to uphold Roe v Wade…

Stormy has hinted of some conservative values.  No, she probably won’t get the endorsement of ‘Focus on the Family’  but she has hinted that at least fiscally , she would be a conservative. Then there’s this quote from her press release today stating why she would not run in the Republican Primary

Hold the Phone a second.  Porn Star Stormy Daniels just made an observation that all too many Republicans can’t acknowledge.

The mere fact that she would compare her plight to that of Sarah Palin tells me the she is not a hard left liberal, which is more than I can say for any Democrat ,including Mary Landrieu. While Stormy is an admitted political novice, shes not a dummy.  She a decent speaker considering she didn’t have too many speaking roles  , has a charming presence, and is pretty easy on the eyes.

So Stormy if this is really what you want , hit the books , learn the issues and Constitution, join a Tea Party group, and start doing some research on Mary Landrieu. After two more years of Obama, as a  pro Constitution fiscal conservative you can beat Mary Landrieu regardless of your past occupation.

And it would make the liberals heads spin.

This was the title of an NPR story from January 2009.  If you google Obama and athletic you’ll get countless slobbering stories about his basketball court toughness, his natural golf talent, his long intense workouts at the gym, and a highly disturbing amount of stories by male journalists praising his shirtless physique.

We never get to see him actually play basketball or golf or workout at he gym.

We are just told at naseum that he is an athletic specimen to behold.

Here’s what we know.

Obama smokes. As someone who smoked for 14 years I can tell you there is no such thing as a part time smoker.  Smoking  certainly  limits your athletism, especially in a cardio vascular stamina sense.

Obama has high cholesterol.  Not that you can’t be athlectic with high cholestorol, but if you are really doing intense daily workouts at the gym it probably shouldn’t be high.

Now for the only attempts at sports by Obama that the public has been allowed to witness unedited .

I really don’t care if he ever bowled before, if you’re athletic you can do better than a humiliating 37.

2009  All Star Game First pitch

I watched a half hour of introductions and commercials to see Obama’s pitch as well as the crowd reaction to him.  Some Boos, Some Cheers….Okay.  But the network intentionally did not show the pitch, at least not from an angle that you could determine how he threw the ball.  I’ve been watching baseball since 1980, and every pitch is filmed from a centerfield vantagepoint so you can see the location of the pitch.  For the first time in modern television history, a pitch was  filmed from the side  of the mound facing the pitcher and then the camera spun around clumsily to Albert Pujols who had scooped the ball already and ran out to shake hands with Obama.

Involuntarily I leaped up from the couch and said in front of my in laws ( some of whom lean left) and said

“They shot the pitch that way because Obama throws like a girl and they knew it…!”

I’m alot of fun at family events.

I guess the memo that the prez throws like a girl didn’t make it to today’s game.

Maybe the guy doesn’t play baseball either….But you’re the president with all the resources of the US government for more than a year, if you have any shred of athleticism, you should be able to throw a  baseball better than Adam Lambert.

Personally, I don’t trust a guy that can’t properly throw a baseball.  But I could be persuaded to look past that shortcoming if I didn’t have to hear about the vast athletic ability of this guy nonstop.

Let me end this with a little conservative fantasy.  How much fun would it be to arrange some type of one on one charity basketball game, and watch Sarah Palin absolutely SCHOOL Barack Obama on the half court?

I saw the same few dippy Obama Zombies who were all over the place a couple of weeks ago as the MSM had their fawning coffee party  launch blitz.  The are a dozen or so people in a coffee house in DC talking about how obstructive the Republicans are, how the senate rules must change so that Obama can ram his entire agenda through, and all the rest of the nonsense that is the talking points of the Democratic Party.

Does anyone know how to get a political group meeting broadcast on CSPAN…?  These losers aren’t interesting and certainly aren’t bringing Cspan the ratings that a REAL political debate would bring them…

Now I hope that the Republicans will remain united until November and keep slowing up whatever nonsense is thrown on the floor by the left but there is something that the Republicans in the Senate could do that would absolutely Incense Obama and the Liberals.

Now Obama’s cabinet were all confirmed no problem as was Sotomayor, but that was a different lifetime.  Obama was still popular with the people and everybody he picked was touted to be the Best and the Brightest and historic and whatever praise the media could throw at them.  Like I said, it was a lifetime ago.

The Republicans in the Senate didn’t want to seem like obstructionists and confirmed the new Presidents Cabinet and his first Supreme Court Nominee.

Let Obama have to pick a moderate judge.  Sure we won’t get another Scalia appointed by Obama, but we shouldn’t settle for another  Ginsburg either.

Let their side get outraged and cry unconstitional when President Obama himself was willing to filibuster Justice Alito over pure ideological reasons.

Let’s tear up Obamas next nominee until they step down, and tear up the one after that until we get the Dems to agree to a change in the Senate rules for judicial conformations to a simple majority.  Maybe the next President will then be able to nominate an originalist without a war in the Senate breaking out.

Scott Brown is a Giant Killer.  His campaign pulled off the impossible and it is inspiring as a vastly outspent underdog in an area with a powerful Democrat machine prevailed.

The Brown campaigns ‘Hey Dad’ 30 second TV spot turned out to be one of the most brilliant political ads in recent history.  It portrays Scott Brown as a family guy who drives a pickup truck with a lot of mileage. He needed an introduction to voters as he was not well known, and his sunny dispostion and concerns about the growth of government really came through in that ad.

And Obama and Coakley and the rest poked fun at him and his truck….

But I believe that the most powerful effect of that ad was the reaction of Obama and Coakley. They simply couldn’t comprehend the unconscious attraction of voters  to a senate candidate who drives a 6 year truck that’s paid for.  Scott Brown in his ad radiated a sense of thrift that is so alien to Washington DC  in this era where congress burns through trillions of dollars and attempts to marginalize citizens who attempt to petition them to redress their grievances.

The devastation in Haiti is absolutely heartbreaking.  I grew up in an area in New York with many Haitian immigrants as friends who had enormous pride in their country of birth, but detested the corrupt all powerful government that compelled so many of its citizens to flee from Haiti.  Haiti is the perfect example of the misery that an uncontrolled government can inflict on its people and has been for generations.  This is as clear as day to all Haitian immigrants to the US ,  and most rationale Americans.

But not to liberals.

Liberals believe that the USA is the root of all the poverty  and oppression in the world.  Now mind you that the USA has been the number one giver of humanitarian aid to this oppressed nation of Haiti for decades, but it seems that to liberals, the USA is the cause of the misery and poverty in Haiti in the first place.

Now I give Clinton credit.  He will use his name to get aid to people that really need it in that poor country.  But so will Chavez and Castro and some other leaders who rally their people against the United States as the great oppressor, and will use a statement like this for propaganda purposes.

What Clinton said was gratuitous and disgraceful.  One could easily derive the implication that the sub standard buildings and living conditions in Haiti before this disaster was somehow Americas fault.

Do you think his words will be repeated in Venezuela and Cuba?   How about amongst Al Quaeda?

I really think that the false perception of the ‘Great Satan’  worldwide is started right here at home by the usual suspects….

The story was obviously written before the whole Tiger Woods scandal meant to be a sports-political commentary.  It is to my understanding that the struggling magazine will print with its Obama-Woods cover in spite of the huge scandal and the advertisers are not pulling their ads..

Apparently the publisher and advertisers are banking on that a lampoon cover of the Woods image will far outsell any generic story they could run last minute to replace it.

I hope Michelle Obama takes this cover with a grain of salt, or I assure you Barack will be canceling his subscription.
