Enviromentalists push Ecocide as 5th International Crime against peace -BREITBART TV
I never here about these cowards going to China to protest the lack of environmental controls, or the fact that they pay Brazil and Argentina to cut down the rain forests so they can grow soybeans. We saw the fact that the country had to shut down just to have air clean enough for the Olympics.
Our manufacturing base is gone we have nothing to put into the atmosphere to cause the destruction these Communists, Marxist are talking about. They just want to shut this nation down and tax us to death. They are so afraid to attack anyone but us and the Japanese fishing boats.
Eco-Farce and Eco-cowardice are more fitting terms.
Go to China and India and Russia, Saudi Arabia and see how they feel about your protests. Let us know how it works out for ya.
As a follow-up to a previous post on this subject by Neil Stevens, Barack Obama let the cat out of the bag in his commencement speech at Hampton University over the weekend.
HAMPTON, Virginia BIG JOURNALISM — US President Barack Obama lamented Sunday that in the iPad and Xbox era, information had become a diversion that was imposing new strains on democracy, in his latest critique of modern media.
“You’re coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don’t always rank all that high on the truth meter,” Obama said at Hampton University, Virginia.
“With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, — none of which I know how to work — information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation,” Obama said.
He bemoaned the fact that “some of the craziest claims can quickly claim traction,” in the clamor of certain blogs and talk radio outlets.
“All of this is not only putting new pressures on you, it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy.”
Obama, [.....] warned the world was at a moment of “breathtaking change.”
“We can’t stop these changes… but we can adapt to them,” Obama said, adding that US workers were in a battle with well-educated foreign workers.
Now how does this speech play into the attempt at a totalitarian state by the radicals in this administration? If you have time to read and study then you must learn who these enemies are. We are being distracted by the day to day struggles of life. I don’t see the outrage nor do I see the uproar pointing out this regimes attempt a Chavez style takeover of this nation.
The man (Obama) who couldn’t live without his ‘Blackberry’ and claimed that he has all of Michael Jackson’s songs on his Ipod. Mmm… he must have someone help him use it if he doesn’t know how. I mean he gave the Queen of England one!
I said before Glenn Beck and Andrew Brietbart are all over this day after day. FCC thumbs their nose at the courts
Glenn Beck: Free Speech vs Free Press , Van Jones is on the Board , Net Neutrality , Cass Sunstein
Funny how he had no laser-like job focus to enunciate to these soon to be additions to the unemployment roles (unless they get government jobs).
It sounds to me that he just doesn’t want people to be able to find out all of the lies he and his administration spews on a daily basis.
What do Barack Obama and rappers have in common?
Not much as far as I can tell.
Let’s look at Jay-Z for example, he played at the inauguration celebration party and has been a visitor to the White House on more than one occasion:
Shawn Corey Carter (born December 4, 1969),[1] better known by his stage name Jay-Z, is an American rapper and businessman. He is one of the most financially successful hip hop artists and entrepreneurs in America[2] having had a net worth of over $150 million in 2009.[3] He has sold 40 million albums worldwide[4] while receiving ten Grammy Awards for his musical work.[5]…..
Originally from Marcy Houses housing project in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City,[11] Jay-Z was abandoned by his father and, at age 12, he shot his brother in the shoulder for stealing his jewelry.[12][13] Jay-Z attended Eli Whitney High School in Brooklyn, along with rapper AZ, until it was closed down. After that he attended George Westinghouse Information Technology High School in Downtown Brooklyn, which fellow rappers The Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes also attended, and Trenton Central High School in Trenton, New Jersey, but did not graduate.[14] In his music he refers to having been involved in selling crack cocaine.[13]…….
….Jay-Z has also established himself as an entrepreneur like his fellow hip hop moguls, and friends, Russell Simmons, Dr. Dre and Sean “Diddy” Combs, who also have business holdings such as record companies and clothing lines. In an interview, he stated that “my brands are an extension of me. They’re close to me. It’s not like running GM, where there’s no emotional attachment.”[82]
From the beginning of his professional recording career, when no major label gave him a record deal, Jay-Z, Damon Dash, and Kareem Biggs created Roc-A-Fella Records as their own independent label.[.............]
He is the founder of the urban clothing brand Rocawear along with Damon Dash.[83] Rocawear has clothing lines and accessories for men, women and children. The line was taken over by Jay-Z in early 2006 following a falling out with co-founder Damon Dash. In March 2007, Jay-Z sold the rights to the Rocawear brand to Iconix Brand Group, for $204 million. Jay-Z will retain his stake in the company and will continue to oversee the marketing, licensing and product development.[83][84] He also co-owns The 40/40 Club, an upscale sports bar that started in New York City and has since expanded to Atlantic City and Chicago.
Barack Obama was born on August 4, 1961[4] at Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States,[5] to Stanley Ann Dunham,[6] an American of predominantly English descent from Wichita, Kansas,[7] and Barack Obama, Sr., a Luo from Nyang’oma Kogelo, Nyanza Province, Kenya Colony[.......]
Originally from Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.[..............]
[...........].After her divorce, Dunham married Indonesian student Lolo Soetoro, who was attending college in Hawaii. When Suharto, a military leader in Soetoro’s home country, came to power in 1967, all Indonesian students studying abroad were recalled, and the family moved to the Menteng neighborhood of Jakarta.[14][15] From ages six to ten, Obama attended local schools in Jakarta, including Besuki Public School and St. Francis of Assisi School.[16][17] During this time period, Obama was known as “Barry Soetoro” which was his childhood nickname and his stepfather’s surname. He continued to use “Barry” into college.[18]
In 1971, Obama returned to Honolulu to live with his maternal grandparents, Madelyn and Stanley Armour Dunham, and attended Punahou School, a private college preparatory school, from the fifth grade until his graduation from high school in 1979.[19] [...........]
[............] Obama has also written and talked about using alcohol, marijuana and cocaine during his teenage years to “push questions of who I was out of my mind.”[24] At the 2008 Civil Forum on the Presidency, Obama identified his high-school drug use as his “greatest moral failure.”[25]
Following high school, Obama moved to Los Angeles in 1979 to attend Occidental College.[26] In 1981 Obama went to Indonesia to visit with his mother and sister Maya. Then Obama traveled to Pakistan with a college friend born there. The Obama campaign says Obama was in Pakistan for about three weeks, staying with his friend’s family in Karachi and also visiting Hyderabad in Southern India. The Pakistan visit was later used to complete his international studies requirements.[18][27]…………..
When you read each man’s bio you will see they have very few similarities.
While both are men of color, they each had their father abandon them and they both admittedly had intimate knowledge of drugs in their youths, they both did manage to marry wealthy and powerful, influential women but that’s where it would appear any similarities would end. The way each of them handled their circumstances and what they did to mold and shape their futures to become the men that they are to day is very unique as well.
Schooling:
Jay-Z didn’t even finish high school;
Barack Obama not only finished high school but was afforded the opportunity to attend college preparatory school as well before going on to study at Occidental College and stayed in Pakistan and India to obtain international studies credits. Barack Obama also a graduated from Columbia University as well as received a Law Degree from Harvard.
Day to day struggle:
Jay-Z struggled in his neighborhood to find away to make money to survive.
Barack Obama struggled with how to “fit in” being raised by a white family.
Occupation:
Jay-Z found a talent on his own of his own and when he couldn’t find a label to invest in him he used his entrepreneurial spirit and found a partner and established his own company.
Barack Obama used his connections and worked “organizing” but made no real impact in the areas he was working in, he had two small motor voter cases he dealt with but nothing substantial until he met some people to “help him” enter Chicago politics.
Jay-Z continued to use his business savvy to expand his company and delve into other markets like clothing as well as helping to discover produce and distribute more talent into his industry and put Rap on the map as it were.
What I’m getting at here is you have two men of color who in the overall picture had very different lives but somehow as we see Jay-Z supports Barack Obama in spite of the fact that in reality Obama represents everything opposite of what Jay=Z is about.
Rappers sing about getting out of the “hood” and the struggles of everyday life and the fight against the establishment (police) ie government to let them be free to make their way in life. They rap about how people put them down and do not respect them for what they do and do not take them as serious artists. They are upset with censorship of their lyrics and at their concerts.
The entrepreneurial spirit and the self determination by someone like Jay-Z to make his own way and become rich and successful without a government handout, the desire to be free to express himself without government regulation and censorship goes against the very grain of what Barack Obama is doing to this nation.
Strict regulations, high taxes, holding back small businesses and anyone who wants to be their own boss and succeed, handouts to those who “can’t or won’t” make their own way in life. Closing down the very free market that enabled Jay-Z to build his empire would lead me to believe that not only should Jay-Z not be supportive of Obama’s policies, he should be very vocal about it and a leader in the black community against these restrictive policies. Especially the performance tax which is being pushed by Congress to tax songs played on the radio as well as the actions by the Free-Press and the FCC to control TV radio and the Internet for content.
Bottom line: Rappers no matter what you think of them or their music are free-market capitalist and self-made entrepreneurs and Barack Obama has shown that he has no use for people like that for anything other than collecting taxes.
I’m confused:
If you are not working but collecting unemployment then you ARE counted as unemployed.
If you are not working but you have exhausted your unemployment benefits then you are NOT counted as unemployed.
If you are unemployed and you have given up looking for a job then you are NOT counted as unemployed.
If you are unemployed, exhausted you benefits but suddenly the Obama administration wants to take credit for an increase in jobs created but has to explain away the fact that the unemployment rate still went up then you ARE counted as unemployed again.
So if the unemployment rate goes higher, to 10% then the economy will REALLY be kicking in…..
just trying to get it straight.
Cinco de mayo may become the official day of the Mexican invasion of the United States of America.
GANG THREAT against students who wore THE AMERICAN FLAG TO SCHOOL AND WERE TOLD TO GO HOME
What is so special about May 5th? (cinco de mayo)
“A group of California high school students were sent home for wearing American flag t-shirts on Cinco de Mayo. An administrator at Live Oak High School told one of the students that the American flag t-shirt was “incendiary.”
According to published reports, the five boys were sitting at a table when they were ordered to remove American flag bandannas and turn their flag t-shirts inside-out. When they refused, they were taken to the principal’s office.
“They told us basically we take it off or we can get suspended,” Matthew Dariano told KCBA, the FOX affiliate in Monterey.
“They said we could wear it on any other day, but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it’s supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today,” said Daniel Galli, in an interview with the KTVU in San Francisco.
The students were allegedly told that Cinco de Mayo is “not the day for patriotism.””

More than 200 Hispanic students reportedly skipped class on Thursday and marched to school district headquarters while chanting “we want respect” and “si se puedes” — “yes we can” — the Morgan Hill Times reported.
“We did this to support the Latino/Hispanic community,” Francine Roa, a 2005 Live Oak High School graduate, told the newspaper.
Police have been told to be on alert for gang-related retaliation against the boys, according to Ken Jones, whose stepson, Daniel Galli, was one of the students who refused to turn their T-shirts inside-out when asked by a vice principal on Wednesday.
The answer is technically B, but it could be argued that both would suffice.
Is the intensity and enthusiasm and National pride of Mexico at such a fever-pitch that this day warrants such fierce celebration in the United States that would cause anyone of Mexican heritage to cast aside their pride in the country that has given them the opportunity to live in a free nation and to enjoy the fruits of the opportunities they will have here as opposed to the lack of opportunities they would have in Mexico (THAT COUNTRY WOULD BE AMERICA).
One would think that with the audacity of SOME “Mexican-Americans” to become “offended” by the mere presence of an American flag HERE IN AMERICA that the entire country of Mexico would be shut down in celebration as well, but alas no that isn’t the case as Independence day in Mexico isn’t actually until MAY 16TH!! and cinco de mayo isn’t even officially celebrated in Mexico.
So you see why I would have to give you credit for both answers.
The response of the other students is disgraceful but it reveals yet another stanch reality about the control, how deedl-rooted and how far the Progressive movement has come in completely controlling our educational system, particularly out West.
It would appear that the plan to allow Mexico to retake the Western half of our nation just to garner Democrat Party votes is in full swing.
I never thought I would see the day when a flag from another country would have more importance HERE than our own.
Just as Nancy Pelosi said when the American people wanted Congress to read the health care bill ”we need to pass the bill to see what’s in it“.
NEW ORLEANS — Just five weeks since the President of the United States signed ObamaCare into law, it already resembles an overweight airplane lumbering down the tarmac, poised to crash and burn soon after takeoff. ObamaCare’s excess cargo of broken promises threatens such a catastrophe.
•“The plan I’m announcing tonight,” President Barack Obama promised a joint session of Congress last September 9, “will slow the growth of health-care costs for our families, our businesses, and our government.”
Not so fast, warns Medicare’s Office of the Actuary. In a devastating, independent, 38-page analysis released on April 22, Chief Actuary Richard Foster forecast, “The growth rate reductions from productivity adjustments are unlikely to be sustainable on a permanent annual basis…We show a negligible financial impact over the next 10 years for the other provisions intended to help control future health care cost growth.”
The opponents to this bill stated all throughout that there would not be the overstated cost savings in this bill that the administration was claiming. Passing a bill to see what’s in it is the most irresponsible act any congress person could ever do and this needs to be remembered for all time.

I am reposting this with an apology because the first time I posted it I did not specify clearly it was a reprint. I thought I had left a link to the original site which had been e-mailed to me. I have found the original article from the site and I am asking if it can be posted. I apologize for not being astute at the entire publishing etiquet and technology and I meant no disrespect.

Sergeant First Class Smith received a total of twenty-two military decorations and badges over the course of his career. His last medal he earned by manning a .50 cal machine gun in an open position so wounded US troops would be protected. SFC Smith took 13 enemy rounds to the body before a 14th round killed him. He now rests in Arlington National Cemetery. Please take a moment to read the citation of a hero.
Rank: Sergeant First Class

Entered Service At: October 1989
Date of Issue: 04/05/2005
For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty: Sergeant First Class Paul R. Smith distinguished himself by acts of gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty in action with an armed enemy near Baghdad International Airport, Baghdad, Iraq on 4 April 2003. On that day, Sergeant First Class Smith was engaged in the construction of a prisoner of war holding area when his Task Force was violently attacked by a company-sized enemy force. Realizing the vulnerability of over 100 fellow soldiers, Sergeant First Class Smith quickly organized a hasty defense consisting of two platoons of soldiers, one Bradley Fighting Vehicle and three armored personnel carriers. As the fight developed, Sergeant First Class Smith braved hostile enemy fire to personally engage the enemy with hand grenades and anti-tank weapons, and organized the evacuation of three wounded soldiers from an armored personnel carrier struck by a rocket propelled grenade and a 60mm mortar round. Fearing the enemy would overrun their defenses, Sergeant First Class Smith moved under withering enemy fire to man a .50 caliber machine gun mounted on a damaged armored personnel carrier. In total disregard for his own life, he maintained his exposed position in order to engage the attacking enemy force. During this action, he was mortally wounded. His courageous actions helped defeat the enemy attack, and resulted in as many as 50 enemy soldiers killed, while allowing the safe withdrawal of numerous wounded soldiers. Sergeant First Class Smith’s extraordinary heroism and uncommon valor are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, the Third Infantry Division ‘Rock of the Marne’, and the United States Army.
Thanks to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society for this citation and to Mr. Paul Smith for his bravery.

The U.S. under the Obama-shield that will prevent us from and attack by an economic recovery.

This represents the Obama outcome of his perfect storm of political, social and economic chaos with the hands of the economy bound by a giant set of handcuffs and the rest of the country enveloped in a dark dense fog of uncertainty and fear.
As opposed to the thought process of a great leader who also had to get us out from under a dark cloud of economic turmoil.
“The developing world has been told that it’s necessary to give up freedom in order to achieve progress. Nothing could be further from the truth. Freedom and economic advance go hand in hand; they are two sides of the same coin. The mainspring of human progress is found not in controlling and harnessing human energy but in setting it free. The most valuable resource is not oil or precious metals or even territory; it’s the infinite richness of human potential. The creative genius and diligence unleashed when people are free and working to improve their lot and that of their families is the greatest force for good on this planet.” –Ronald Reagan
