we went online and contributed to Mitt Romney’s campaign. In 2008 at an online informational site we filled in a “which candidate reflects your beliefs” or something like that. At the end, Mitt Romney’s name came up. At that time we were very much in favor of Mike Huckabee but did spend some time researching Romney on the Internet. He did reflect some of the same convictions as us, however, am being honest here, we both got stalled at his religion. After almost 4 years of a possible Muslim radical at worst, or a somewhat Protestant at best…Romney’s religion doesn’t matter to us this time around. Could we please get a President who sincerely believes in the Almighty, who wants to walk his path with integrity and forthrightness, who perhaps considers “women’s rights” in a more common sense, less militant way, and of importance to myself…a man who understands that mankind was created with a man and a woman!  Regarding the Roberts controversy now taking place, let’s wait and see if we can get the RINO’s out of office this Novemember along with Obama. If we can get Obama out, his failing coattails will NOT carry the others and perhaps we can get a WH and Congress that will work together. I don’t know, when the GOP wins big it seems that they never get anything done.  The Tea Party may be our only hope this time around.
