Am appalled to have just seen an Obama TShirt with

“Still a BFD” on it. What has happened to America? Just because you use anacronym in writing does not change the meaning. How crass and crude to have a President of the United States use the F word in such a manner. If you are using anacronyms representing foul language, to me it is the same thing as saying the actual word. We used to use ROTFL all the time, meaning rolling on the floor laughing. Of course, in just a few years it has become accepted to insert an F in that anacronym.

I felt insulted to have Biden use the F word while at an open mike, and for the Dems to continue to use the “F” to describe their health care plan just about says it all as far as I’m concerned. The corrosion of common decency in America should concern all conservatives. How demeaning to the second highest office in our land! We did not “laugh” at Biden who knew exactly what he was saying!

If you do not want to say the word, don’t resort to abbreviated forms of it. Does Obama sincerely think that he isn’t saying what he is saying? This campaign Tshirt is disgusting. How are we going to explain to our children who see this shirt, what it means when they ask? Why do dems think this is even remotely acceptable?

And yes, I have a wonderful sense of humor, this just ain’t funny!

    just do not see what the big deal about the wording is. Way too many real issues to be concerned with, not what someone has on their shirt.

    Some adults cuss, some don’t, being a politician or even VP or President does not change that. Would rather have a salty language using president that takes care of business than a clean mouthed failure. Obama happens to be a complete failure, but that still does not change the fact that BFD is just not a big deal.

    Let us worry about real issues, not the silly stuff. Let us point out the real problems with Obama, not BFD.

      that cussing has been around long before the 2000′s and in fact was around since man invented language right?

      The issue is stupid. Some guy wearing a TShirt that has BFD on it is not anywhere close to being what should concern us not only about our country, but this presidential team as well. Way too many things wrong in this country to worry about a cuss word especially when some do not consider it to be taboo or wrong.

      Let us stick to the real topics that concern us all, not some silly Acronym.

        question of moral character which is what some of us look for in our elected officials. I did not present it as an “issue”, and I am capable of discussing the “real topics” as well as expressing my disgust at how crass and crude Americans have become without even giving it a second thought. I have actually chewed gum and walked at the same time!

        The point is….is you don’t want to say the F word, why use a cutsy anacronym? I guess I am not going to follow the sheeple and accept the decay of our language in the United States. If we are having a conversation and your language is foul, chances are I am going to walk away.

        The lack of leadership, moral fortitude, integrity by using foul language or anacronyms is important. Who wants to explain to a child what BFD means, who on earth would even wear that shirt in public. That is the point I am making…it is disgusting.

      He said some unpublishable-here words to Patrick Leahy, and you would have thought that Cheney had invented the words himself.

      I’ll bet you won’t see any such responses to Biden or this shirt.

        am so sick and tired at how thin skinned the Left is. The president in particular reminds me more of a 10 year old trying to cope with his emotions than a grown, well educated man!

        I’m not saying curse words and such are not common place with many, I am saying that the prestige of the presidency is lowered dramtically with such a crass attitude.

        I want some dignity restored to the White House. I am not intolerant just disgusted that filthy language has become the “cool” thing touse. Anancronyns that include foul language are just as offensive. If you’re not willing to say a word, then don’t abbreviated it either.

        People used to say, “do you kiss your mother with that mouth?” Now I wonder if our young people even realize how foul their language is. Oh wait, Obama isn’t young, just ignorant I guess.
