Bar Complaint Filed Against Obama For His Lack of Honesty

A Lack of Honesty Made Greater By His Abundant Arrogance

Though Obama has not released his bar application (transparency is just a bumper sticker for him), someone has filed a bar complaint.

The complaint charges Barack Obama with failing to disclose his drug use. As I’ve written about in the past, bar applications are lengthy things to fill out and they go into a host of details from drug use to parking tickets.

Given how arrogant Obama is, we can be pretty sure he did not disclose his drug use or the high volume of parking tickets he received at Harvard.

Jim Geraghty has the details.

The Dems have now progressed from a president who didn’t inhale.

So tell us Obama, is your entire book a lie or just the drug part?

How incredibly desperate and small can a person be to focus on something so obscure from long ago?

  • aaronbg

….to ignore all of the evidence that Obama is indeed a bad actor and should be held accountable for his many questionable actions and affiliations? Come on now don’t attack the person filing the complaint defend Barack….if you can.

Unless the question on the application was worded differently when Obama filled it out – and my understanding is that bar applications used to be a lot more intrusive into personal conduct than they are now – this is a non-issue.

Anyone who’s getting excited over this need to read the question carefully: unless Obama was arrested, accused, convicted, or otherwise faced the legal system for drug use or any other violation of the law, he could answer “no” truthfully, and any bar would be satisfied. Similarly, a lot of applications ask if somebody has received “treatment” or “counseling” etc. for drug or alcohol abuse, but that also isn’t – and isn’t meant to be – a question about “use” itself. Remember, bar application questions are written by lawyers, for lawyers, to be read by lawyers. And lawyers tend to be a fairly precise bunch.

If he lied about outstanding parking tickets, that might be more interesting.

I have trouble with autostereographs too, but I can clearly see the hidden dissembling narcissist in this one.

…all information that shows a pattern….I mean individually these all mean nothing..so why should we pay attention to the pattern…pffft

  • Neil_Stevens

Which kinds of criminal activity do you consider small, and which are not?

  • E_Pluribus_Unum

But no, that wasn’ desperate and small, was it?

  • Apt604

You’re taking a non-issue, as any lawyer who has ever filled out a bar application could easily tell you, and saying it reflects a “pattern”?

Please, somebody explain why it’s so “dishonest” or “arrogant” for him to answer the question that was posed to him.

And if he’s so “dishonest” about drug use, why on earth would he freely admit to it in a book that he wants millions of people to read?

do it. Next post, or last one.

…his Church, his friends (pastor Wright, Father Phleger, Weather Underground), his alternating positions on any given day, I think all of these things represent a pattern of not being the correct choice to lead our nation.

People like you won’t allow anything negative to be said about Obama. Well sorry about that but this is politics not beanbag and we will continue to point out what is wrong with the Obamessiah until people see the pattern for themselves.

  • Apt604

Do his church or his friends have to do with the subject of this posting, which was his response to a question on a bar application?

When you say “people like you,” who are you talking about? I never said you can’t say anything negative about Obama. All I’m going to suggest here is that if you say something negative about him or McCain or me or anyone else, it should be at least *remotely *logical and informed.
