Perhaps the only American politician with an ego bigger than Barack Obama’s, Representative Don Young is running an ad in Alaska that is simply not true.

In the advertisement, Young claims he received the “hero of the taxpayer award by Taxpayers for Common Sense.” There’s just one problem. Taxpayers for Common Sense did not award Don Young the award. Grover Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform gave him an award.

I guess he’s been in Washington for so long, he just takes it all for granted.
