Just How Little Change There Is In Obama’s Hope

But hey, it was only midnight in Hollywood. The target audience would still be up.

The non-traditional politician chooses a gaffe machine who has been in the United States Senate since The One was eight years old.

The only change there is that Obama has finally chosen to ditch the idea that he is a new type of politician. Obama is part of the failed legacy of liberalism of the past 100 years. There is nothing new here except the package.

The pro-abortion church going secularist chose a pro-abortion non-church going Catholic. (Yeah, yeah, Biden goes to church, it’s just that while he’s there he finds himself all alone. It’s his private, away from everyone time. See Matt 18:20)

The only twist is that Obama chose to wake everyone up at 3:00 in the morning to tell them. Why?

Why was the ad sent out at 3 o’clock in the morning? I suspect it was a snub at Hillary Clinton:

It’s 3 a.m. and who answered the phone? You did! Because Barack Obama woke your butt up to tell you he was abandoning his hope and change message in favor of a guy who did not even think Obama was qualified to be President less than eight months ago — someone just like Hillary Clinton, but not her!!!!

Beyond the fact it is so galling the Obama campaign told us all he’d text us at 10 a.m. this morning, and chose 3 o’clock to do it (maybe this was honoring the Chinese again, after all it was 3 p.m. in Beijing), look at where this puts Obama:

He could not go with a young guy for a running mate. He could not stretch the new, hope, and change message to his running mate.

Barack Obama was put in a box. He was put in a box because of his own inexperience. Obama could not get someone from the real world to be his running mate. He could not get a governor. He could not get a CEO. He could not get a general. He could not get anyone new, fresh, or outside the box.

Obama had to go with an old hand in the Senate because he has to reassure people that there will be an adult in the White House — never mind that the adult is a gaffe machine whose first run at the White House was blown out of the water after it came out he’d lied about his resume and plagiarized a British politician. That’s all irrelevant to Obama’s pick. The only thing relevant is Obama’s desire not to be overshadowed accompanied by his need for someone with experience.

Look for few open forums with Biden. They can’t take that chance.

And let’s remember the message at 3 a.m.

Having not even vetting Hillary Clinton nor helped her pay off her campaign debts, they did the ultimate snub.

They reminded everyone of her 3 a.m. advertisement. Only this time there was no crisis in the White House. There was only Obama’s ego texting — an ego too ashamed to announce his inexperience necessitated Joe Biden at 10 a.m. He had to do it under cover of night and sleep.

Way to rub Hillary’s nose in it. And way to wake us up. By dawn, no one gave a flip, which is no doubt how Obama wants it anyway.

After all, it is still all about him. “Experience? Pfffffft. Have I mentioned Joe Biden’s by my side? Now let me show you the repacked ginsu knives.”

has for the last decade or so gotten students an A for “creative use of technology.” That plagiarism scandal won’t mean anything at all to many younger voters; at most they’ll wonder why people would be so tighta**ed about it.

The hilarious thing is the way that CNN and other MSM are covering this is by emphasizing Biden as one who balances out Obama’s inexperience. So, all day long they have been inadvertently reminding people of Obama’s inexperience.

That is what undecided voters are going to remember about this day, long after any “excitement” about the great balancer is gone.

I wonder how long it will take them to wise up? Sen. McCain couldn’t have bought this much negative advertising if he tried, and the best thing is that no one can tie him to it.

    Brilliant.

The non-traditional politician chooses a gaffe machine who has been in the United States Senate since The One was eight years old.

He chose as his fellow agent of change a windbag who moved to Washington DC before John McCain checked out of the Hanoi Hilton.

Biden: “That was a great Indian accent you did when she called the cashier to confirm.”

Barry: “That was an Indonesian accent, Joe.”

Biden: Yeah, whatever. I was laughing my a$$ off…had to go in the back room. Hey, can you do a Snagglepuss voice? Let’s call McCain and pretend to be Lieberman.”

Barry: “He// yeah, just write down what you want me to say.”

As I have watched this all unfold over the last several days, I have asked myself how 17+ million democrats could have been so dumb. And how 400+ super delegates could let them continue their follies.

Streiff was so right. Given the way our GOP has governed the last 8 years, no, I didn’t say Bush, I said GOP because IMO, Congress has been the absolute failure here, we really don’t deserve Joe Biden.

What we deserved was Hillary Clinton picking Barack Obama as her #2 and kicking our a*e in a landslide victory. Thereby seasoning young jedi Barack and giving the democrats a 16 year death star lock on the White House. Seriously folks, that’s what we deserve.

Instead we have young Barack all arrogant and self-assured choosing Joe Biden. A walking gaffe-matic that never could get more than what? about 3% of a primary vote in his two failed attempts at the WH. And Hillary & Bubba + about 18 million pissed off supporters. And about 3-4 million of those that have sworn to never vote for the young, arrogant whippersnapper.

I’d almost feel sorry for them all if I weren’t so greatful for us.

    WONDERFULLY expressed!

I agreee: the Dems are full of arrogance… but the Repubs have totally failed to lead with anything approaching Conservatism.

Reminds me of the old saw: the only difference between a bag of excrement and a politician — is the bag.

This is a dream team for us pubbies,if we can’t beat obamabiden we deserve to lose.

  • Hammer2008

because that’s how it’ll be in an Obama Administration!

So many twisted variations can be made on this one ad now.

    It’s 3 a.m.
Hello, I’m President Barack Obama the ones we’ve been waiting for and you’ve reached the White House. If it’s 3 a.m. press #1 for the Vice President. For experience, press #2. And remember, Yes we can

  • JTaylor

To be sure the 3 am text message was an immature swipe at Clinton by the emotionally immature Obama campaign. Could there be any other reason than to send a text message to supporters at that time?

I was never a fan of Hillary Clinton, but the Obama campaign sure makes her look good in comparison.

  • Pentagon16

which is why people like me were SHOUTING since January to make sure Obama won the primary, and then to switch over to Hillary once we knew the deal was done.

Things have worked out perfectly so far. McCain has to just pick a nice female VP or Pawlenty and we have a great shot at winning.

Independents you can have a say more than ever in this election! Democratic
states such as New York who have voted straight party line, election after election, do so in my opinion because they push “party loyalty” over full analysis of the candidate’s character, history and where they stand on the issues. As an independent, I cannot see myself voting for a candidate who (1) attended a church for over 20 years that preached hate and non-patriotism. I have never nor would I ever attend a church that preached hate! (2) Vote for a candidate that has flip-flopped on just about every major issue showing his lack of experience, judgement and leadership. He is a decent speaker but without sound decisions, the “words” mean nothing! Remember the phrase “I have never heard a person that talks so much but says so little! (3) Lack of patriotism ie quote
“As I’ve said about the Flag pin, I don’t want to be perceived as taking as taking sides. There are alot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression and the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You
know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song, I’d like to teach the world to sing. If that were our anthem, then I “might” salute it.” Americans do we really want this candidate to be our “Commander in Chief”? I am an American like millions of others who have served their country in honor! Obama, I don’t know who’s side your on but Americans are not the war mongers you claim them to be! We believe that a “strong nation” is a leader that should offer help to less fortunate nations in the time of need. Our strength is our blessing! God Bless America!
