Jill1066 Saturday, August 30th at 9:08AM EST (link)If you examine the news reporting from the Dayton event where she was introduced as the VP nominee you should be able to find some photos showing the large, stylish flag pin that she was wearing. If you read a bit further and check out articles/interviews from the last several years, you’ll find that her feelings for this nation are distinctly pro-American.
The point of the this posting seems to me to be that she is comfortable operating large, powerful firearms. This suggests that she is a strong person with an adventurous streak that is confident in her abilities and supports the 2nd amendment. It offers an interesting tidbit about her personal life and beliefs. I also have experience in handling firearms (alas, not the automatic variety) and agree that it doesn’t mean you can lead the country. That wasn’t the point that Erick was making in this post.
