Now, here are some key points worth remembering:

  • The Obama camp is comparing their number 1 to our number 2. That speaks volumes.
  • Palin had been in elected office for 5 years before Obama ever got elected.
  • Palin resigned her office to protest corruption. Obama has never met corruption he did not embrace.
  • Palin has balanced family, municipal, and state budgets. Obama, at best, has balanced a family budget, but he needed Tony Rezko’s help.
  • Palin runs the largest state in the nation. Barack Obama runs for President (and his mouth).
  • Sarah Palin did not run for President on her resume. Barack Obama did.
    -Barack Obama talks about reform. Sarah Palin reforms.

And again, the most important point is that the Obama campaign wants to compare Obama to Palin. Doing so is an admission that Obama should be their number 2 pick and Biden should be their number 1 pick.

    i’ve read this blog for years and never posted. but, finally will with this because i really must hear what the line of defense on this will be over the next 2 months:

    as for the prospect of her being vice president, Palin told Kudlow that she could not answer the question of whether she wanted the job ?until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day. I?m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we?re trying to accomplish up here?.?

    Can you provide a link that shows that the Obama campaign is comparing “their number 1 to our number 2″ as you say…

    All I can find are conservative sources that are attempting to compare Obama’s experience with Palin…I can’t find any comment from the Obama camp that reflects what you are claiming..

    ALL of the Obama people bring up her “lack of experience” and usually forget to mention that she’s the governor of a state. “Former mayor of a town of 9000.” is the common refrain.

    If that’s not enough for you, take a look at the comments of the Obama supporters who post here. It’s all about how she’s not experienced enough to be president!

    Comparison with Obama? Hmmm… maybe they DON’T want a side by side comparison because it’s obvious Obama is less qualified than Palin. But it’s definitely comparing her experience with their number one.. even if they leave off his side of the equation. (Maybe they’re not leaving it off, he just doesn’t have any on his side of the ledger.)

    This one is easy and you are correct, there IS NO comparison between Palin and Obama.
    While she was attending beauty pageants and going to University of Idaho, Obama was receiving honors at Harvard Law School
    While she was in ?elected office five years before Obama?, you mean on city council, Obama was teaching constitutional Law to more students than people in her town
    By the way, if she was in elected office ?before?, I?m sure you would mention that after losing an election in 2002 she was ?OUT? of office
    Largest state? Okay, but IF you wanted to be honest about what?s relevant you would say, ?the third LEAST populated state?
    The rest? BS, pure and simple. Talk of religious affiliation, birthplace, real vs. (not real) reform, (lack of) accomplishments
    Blah, Blah, Lies, Blah, Blah, more lies. Kinda funny though. It says more about those who say them

    I cant speak for her but I have a different viewpoint on that. I have heard alot of commentators say the job of VP is to check on the health of POTUS everyday, and entertain foreign dignitaries. I think she was tounge in cheek saying she didnt want to be a pretty face. She wanted to find out how she could be involved and keep working for things she believes in. Just my thoughts on the matter.

    And dont go knocking where the woman went to school. She was in the beauty pageant to get money for school. Maybe if Obama was President he would of paid for her education.

    The simple fact is that Obama has absolutely no resume whatsoever. It would make me alot less sick if the dems would just say we like him because he talks a good game and we want change. Instead they bring up all of these miniscule accomplishments. I laugh everytime I see Dukakis, Vilsack, Kucinich, and every other dem, fumble and stutter to answer a simple question. Name one thing Barack Obama has EVER done.
