Biden Picks Up From Begala. Calls Palin “Dangerous”

Last night on CNN, Paul Begala called Sarah Palin’s remarks connecting Barack Obama with Bill Ayers “dangerous.”

Joe Biden is now running with it.

Appearing on CBS’ “The Early Show” on Wednesday, Biden called the Republican effort to tie Obama to 1960s radical William Ayers, in his words, “mildly dangerous.”

How exactly is it dangerous to tell the truth?

How exactly is it dangerous to point out that Barack Obama lied about his relationship?

Friends, Bill Ayers, in applying for the Annenberg grant said he wanted to radicalize students. That was Bill Ayers’s stated goal. He wanted, not to educate students, but to radicalize them.

Who did Bill Ayers choose to disperse the money to radicalize students? Barack Obama.

To echo Jim Geraghty, Sarah Palin needs to add this line: “There’s reason to doubt that oft-repeated pledge of ‘supporting the troops’ when you’ve worked for a man who tried to kill the troops.”

BTW, here is Michael Barone pointing out just how legit the Bill Ayers issue is.

Now is the time to explain why Ayers and Obama are bad for the economy.

Working with Ayers, Obama spent $160 million, in a failed attempt to improve the Chicago’s education system. The money instead went to mostly radical community organizers like ACORN.

Imagine how he could misues your tax dollars.

Palin is “dangerous,” McCain is “erratic,” what they are trying to do is painfully obvious and I think not at all effective. They are afraid of the truth which is why they use their “truth squads” to shut down any opposition. Obama’s organization is a typical Chicago style thug gang that will use buzzwords to manipulate and intimidate people. I really do not believe its going to work. I think people are sick of both candidates, the election turn out is going to be low, and McCain will win ultimately. At least I hope so…http://conservativeinsights.com/

to Obama/Biden. At the next campaign stop Sarah’s speech should include something like the following:

“Yeah it’s dangerous alright. Dangerous for someone who once advocated children killing their parents being anywhere near the education of anymore children”.

Now if you’ll excuse me I need to write my Congress people and thank them for allocating the funds that enabled the government to invent my computer.

“Who did Bill Ayers choose to disperse the money to radicalize students? Barack Obama.”

I think that this statement is immensely important and has not really been addressed. When Bill Ayers (a known terrorist who states that he wants to radicalize America and its students) was given $100 million dollars who did he see as a person who would help carry out that vision. When Bill Ayers wanted to help launch a political career, and lets be honest no one wants to help launch the political career of someone with whom they disagree, HE SAW BARACK OBAMA AS JUST THAT TYPE OF PERSON. It is not just Obama’s judgment that is called into question but also what is it about him, his nature, his politics, his ideology that Bill Ayers saw and liked so much he held fund raisers, invited into his home, and put him in charge of his projects.

    Reasonable people will know it’s untrue;
Feminists may think it cool; and
Joe Sixpack may think its kind of sexy

Why don’t we just drop it already?

Don’t you think there are at least a few other things in the world more important to deal with than this?

palling with a known terrorist and not knowing he is a terrorist.

seeking economic advice from former leaders of Fannie and Freddie.

taking money and loans from a felon who laundered money for Saddam Hussein.

sitting in a church pew and not noticing the vile spewing from your preacher – for twenty years.

wanting to raise the white flag of surrender in Iraq and not knowing the surge would work.

opposing the surge after it worked.

insulting the troops in Afghanistan as killers rather than supporting them for all the good they do.

opposing the regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac when John McCain pushed for it three years ago.

supporting more sub-prime loans a year ago because they are basically “good.”

Why should we care if our next president is cozy with a guy who bombs the Pentagon – what is really important is he gives a good speech. It’s not like Obama has known the guy for a long time, oh wait. It’s not like the guy has been a fundraiser and promoter for Obama’s political ambitions, oh wait. Well at least the terrorist didn’t appoint Obama to distribute millions of dollars to advance Ayer’s radical adgenda, whoops got me again.

Somehow, I don’t think the left would let it go if McCain palled around with a KKK guy who bombed black churches – but then again neither would we and the republicans (unlike their counterparts) would not nominate such a person.

Politico says Ayers is off the table now. Anyone else heard that?

  • Frozen_Man

doesn’t mean that we all suddenly don’t realize as troll.

  • izoneguy

On local Chicago television in 2000, Obama told a very different story.

Please view this blog which has a treasure of information.
If it does not get out now then it will for the 2012 elections.

…and what I’m hearing, it’s more that Wright is remaining off of the table. Expect Ayers to remain on Sarah’s lips, while McCain goes after F/F.

Take that with as much salt as you like; I’m not that juiced in.

  • Erick

Wright is off the table. The McCain is about to turn up the heat on the Ayers issue.

One was the defense department invented the computer so they could communicate.

Another was that IF we knew of the Holocaust, we would have intervened. What?! I wasn’t alive during WWII but everything I have read and been taught in school was that the US did indeed fight that war and we did liberate people from Nazi concentration camps.

    From the article:

After days of attempts to persuade voters that Obama?s ties to ?60s radical Bill Ayers are a crucial character issue, McCain didn?t mention Ayers? name during the 90 minutes of Tuesday?s forum. His top aides suggested afterward that, going forward, the candidate wouldn?t focus on the former domestic terrorist nor invoke the name of Obama?s controversial pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Even though I’m an Obama supporter, I think bringing up Ayers is fair game in a certain context. I think it’s a loser politically, but if you want to do that, you can. I think that Obama could bring up Palin’s connections to AIP and that anti-witch African minister she likes. These things are fair game in a Presidential election when used in the proper context.

My issue with this is how it’s brought up. You can bring it up with Obama is too willing to associate with unsavorary characters to help his political career. I think that’s fine. When you start trending toward Obama likes Ayers because he is evil and wants to destroy America, you are getting on to shaky ground. If as a campaign, you try to make people believe that Obama is a violent terrorist, you will elicit a reaction that could bring out violence as a response. There may be some idiot out there who takes these statements seriously, and tries to violently stop the Obama campaign because he’s diluted enough to think that he must to save the country. That is the difference right there. You can show that Obama has horrible judgment on who he associated with, and even that he could have some extreme views on issues. But if you start stoking the fire that Obama is a dangerous man, you may give power to the lunatics in this country. That is my concern with this new line of attack, and I think Palin has to be very careful.

The best historians now agree that the FDR administration did know of the Holocaust, and that it may not have been in the top 5 or 10 reasons for us taking on Hitler. (Best historians = those who admit that the Holocaust occurred.)

The idea, espoused by BO, that we should jump into any internal situation where “good guys” are getting killed by “bad guys”, is what got us into the messes in Lebanon (Reagan) Somalia (GHWB/Clinton) Haiti (Clinton) and Kosovo (Clinton). Can anyone say “vital national interest”?

  • aaronbg

the DOD through DARPA did create the IP stack and the predecessor to the TCP/IP model that makes communication between computers possible…but it didn’t create the computer so Obama was wrong in what he said but probably correct in what he meant. Now I am not trying to defend Obama but I see what he was saying. His point was that the gov’t can get things done like this. McCain went with this also but he made sure to state that gov’t must turn over production to the private sector, which was done with the TCP/IP model. Obama on the other hand did not make that distinction, leaving the impression that govt would create alt energy and be the means of production. Obama is a socialist. McCain, well I am not sure what I would call him.

During the VP Debate Joe Biden said he was for Clean Coal Technology.

Sarah Palin Called him on this because of this video!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJ55UzAsp6M

I believe youtube is being pressured to take down Ads embarassing to Obama by his campaign!

The only Reason Joe Biden Thinks Sarah Palin is dangerous is because she is telling the truth and Sen. Biden isn’t!

  • davod

Let’s see: Palin associated on the periphery with a political party that held the Governorship of Alaska at least once, versus, Obama associating with one of the unrepentant leaders of the Weather Underground and his wife.
