    a week or so before the election as the last thing voters are reminded of about Obama before we go the polls.

    The campaign keeps switching from one method of attack/campaigning to another so quickly that none seem to get any real traction.

    Last week they went after Obama on Ayers, then at the debate mentioned nothing but announced a huge new mortgage bailout plan, then went back on the trail and back on Ayers to some degree. Next thing you know though he’s out there telling supporters at rallies that Obama is a “decent guy who you can trust” thus undermining all the Ayers ads he paid for over the past week in one quick statement.

    I highly doubt that in the next few weeks before the election McCain will focus on ACORN for more then a day or two before issuing a statement supporting ACORN.

    He needs to find a core message and voice and stick with it. This switching from one thing to another is just playing into the Democrats claims that he’s ‘erratic’.

    ACORN became an issue now and you point all your guns on that issue when it comes about. The McCain camp should of had something like out within 24 hrs and been making notes of it at rallies using Obama’ own words to put him on defensive.

    McCaim camp should of done work to find this themselves and media too but we all realize that is not happening.

    While I agree that in bygone days a great strategy was to keep your powder dry till the last moment for best effect, early voting has significantly changed the gameplan. There’s a plethora of stuff McCain should be using and should have already used. He needs to get it out there.

    It has become so blatant – aren’t there 15 states involved now? And Fox did a report correlating ACORN to the states where Obama was surging.

    The Internet has changed the playing field. We no longer have to sit and believe what the alphabet networks feed to us.

    It’s out there. THe MSM, especially CNN, has been reporting it. It’s beceom a mainstream joke.

    We should run with it:

    • Its poirced the MSM veil
    • Americans know and are disgusted
    • It is true
    • Its a battleground state issue

    They key is reminding people that it Obama’a money and work as an attorney that helped perpetuate this fraud in their own backyards
