Meet Bill Now, Lest You Meet Him At Work

The United States Chamber of Commerce is serious about the card check bill. As we noted in our Directors post this morning,

The vanguard of this movement to redistribute political power to the Left – the sign you will see early on to know that an Obama Administration is prioritizing political entrenchment – is legislation with the Orwellian title of the Employee Free Choice Act, which was stopped in this Congress only by GOP filibuster. The “card check” bill puts its thumb on the scales of union organizing in a number of ways, most notoriously by eliminating the secret ballot in union elections, allowing workers to be coerced to form unions which will then route coerced union dues to the Democratic party.

The Chamber has a new ad out highlighting Union thuggery. You can read the full post right here and the ad is below:

Conservative Dem union voters in Ohion and Pennsylvania could swing this thing. They are not dyed in the wool liberals, and the ugly truth is a lot of their prejudiced. I also suspect many blue collar joes are horrified by card check.

Question is: How many secretly support McCain and will it show 11/4

Using the same Orwellian logic as the person who named the “Employee Free Choice Act”, I hereby propose the “Union Fire Safety Act”, which will make it perfectly legal for union thugs to firebomb the homes of holdouts.

After all, what good is knowing who the holdouts are, if have to risk jail time when you send your goons out to harass, beat, threaten or kill them?

Obviously, this is the ONLY way to level the playing field for the poor, opressed union bosses members.

McCain should have brought this up in at least one of the debates. The public is overwhelmingly against this, and even rank and file union members are scared to death of it.

It would really give McCain an opening in places like Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Blue collar voters don’t like to be intimidated at work.

I’ve yet to see one McCain ad discussing Obama’s support for card check.

I think Virginia Fox gave the best opposition speech when this was last brought up inthe house. Truth is this is the NO CHOICE act.

Unions are racket, and in public sector they can work to subvert any or all state and federal laws.

I cannot think of any bigger threat than to have the workers fundamental first amendment rights stripped than with legislation like this.

Failing a McCain presidency this will be shoved through as quick as possible by the democratic congress.

The union thugs I had to deal with belong in prison for fraud, and I have some faith that that may happen. It is clear that they conspired to not represent their members.

But from my knowlege, the only way to not be a part of it is if there is some religeous reason why you should not have to be a member of the compulsory union.

Does any one know which particular sect or church this is that shuns collective bargaining and compelled union activity?

Shall we make a new church that has that as part of their foundation? It may become quite popular after EFCA is enacted.

I don’t think this is playing real well in PA, especially western PA. Hopefully that helps swing some Ds to Rs and helps win the state for McCain.
