EDITOR OF REDSTATE

Morning, Noon, and Evening

Folks, I’m up in Washington, D.C. today at RedState HQ. Throughout the day myself and the rest of the RedState contributors are gong to be covering what’s happening on the ground, voter fraud reports, suppression reports, etc.

Here’s the important thing to remember though: exit polls will be leaked at some point. The polling will be skewed to the Democrats. It always has been and always will be. So don’t get worried about the up front leaks.

The real news won’t start happening until about 7pm tonight. That’s when you’ll really want to start paying attention to the mainstream media.

Later today we’re going to have up a special map tracking the returns live as they come in. It’ll be a neat little experiment for us.

Stay tuned throughout the day for ongoing reports.

Both Redstate and National Review were really having trouble with the traffic on the debates. I sure would like to see you up tonight!

Ten Reasons Why You Should Ignore Exit Polls, here.

    1. Exit polls have consistently overstated the Democratic share of the vote. Many of you will recall this happening in 2004, when leaked exit polls suggested that John Kerry would have a much better day than he actually had. But this phenomenon was hardly unique to 2004. In 2000, for instance, exit polls had Al Gore winning states like Alabama and Georgia (!). If you go back and watch The War Room, you’ll find George Stephanopolous and James Carville gloating over exit polls showing Bill Clinton winning states like Indiana and Texas, which of course he did not win.

    2. Exit polls were particularly bad in this year’s primaries. They overstated Barack Obama’s performance by an average of about 7 points.

I obtained a copy of the exit polling questions. You can see them here.

and my better half said, “Sorry, the election will not be over until all the votes are counted.”
I was thinking to myself,”shitt, haven’t they done enough?”

The lines are long around here…to methat signifies good news and not a weed smelling hippy to be found!

Thank you for everything you do on this site.

I cannot believe how far we have fallen nor the fact that recent polls say 21% of self described conservatives are voting for Obama. Hello?!!!!

I know of one ‘conservative’ who’s considering voting Obama. He’s also lost his job… fits the joke, huh?

I also know one who’s voting Barr. I swear he’ll hate me before the 4 years are up if Obama wins.
