    Erick. Some of my fellow members at Team Sarah would like a “pink slip” of those names so we can flag those folks.

    put an end to this when it would take McCain 5 minutes to stop it? I want to hear what McCain really thinks of her. I have to assume by his silenece that he agrees with these staffers. Why else would he let this go on? Maybe Palin should switch party affiliation so McCain will feel more inclined to defend her.

    will not get anything from me, including my vote. In fact, if the opposing Democrat is not too bad, he or she will get my vote. I have voted, on an individual basis, for worthy Democrats when the Republican candidate provd unworthy. I will do so automatically to anyone who hires one of the smearers. I might even go as far as to campaign for the Democrat.

    What sort of assurance do we have that this won’t just be a witch hunt? This isn’t an accusation, I just want to be confident that whoever gets on this list that there’s enough evidence to be sure they’re doing what they’re being accused of.

    What these staffers are doing is despicable. Schmidt and Wallace should be ostracized for this. (Besides this, why would any candidate want to hire someone who is likely to trash talk him/her as well.)

    However, just how are we going to “out” the others involved in this smearing? What proof is required? If one aide says the other aide did it, is that enough, without anything to corroborate it?

    All of this worries me greatly. We are talking about potentially ruining the careers of people here.
