Gotta be straight.
You know, I even read that post you sent me to, spaced it totally.

People understand the extent of the leftists propaganda network on the Internet. For every major subject of political importance, you will find a left wing propaganda website that broadcasts the daily propaganda message about that subject to the leftists nuts. That message gets then carried and depositied on practically every major forum out there.

That's what we are up against ... A propaganda networ and organization, backed by billions of dollars and woven into everything of political importance to the left.

... in South Dakota. I have exchanged several e-mails this morning with conservative contacts that I have here in the state. On January 13th the Governor will deliver the state of the state address and open the legislative session.

I will be talking with a conservative state rep and having dinner with another group of conservatives. I am working on talking with a conservative state senator too that I have met previously, but one hurdle at a time. I have told them what I envision and they want to introduce me to some people who can be of help.

We may be a Red State here in South Dakota, but we have a blue delegation in Washington. It is time to fix that.

The first step on any journey is with the first step......

Thanks for the clarification.

Along with the problem of the changing quote marks, the hrefs in the pastable code point to http://www.redstate.com/erick/2009/01/01/redstate-in-2009/
causing a "not found" when clicking the link.

I assume you wanted it to point to this post which is now:

You might want to update the code for others to paste.

Erick,

I'd like to hear more about 10th Amendment issues. I'm a big believer in Federalism and believe it can be effectively used to break the power of Liberalism b/c its harder to fight 50 battles in 50 state capitols than one in DC. We'd all, Liberals and Conservatives, be better off under a federal system.

Walter Williams wrote a great piece earlier this year, http://townhall.com/columnists/WalterEWilliams/2008/07/16/oklahoma_rebellion about the efforts of Rep. Charles Key of the OK state legislature to pass a 10th amendment bill and the precedent it could set. After reading Dr. Williams' article I wrote Rep. Key to get the draft of his bill to share with my state rep here in Arkansas. He obliged and also placed me on a 10th amendment mailing list. Last week I received an update on his efforts I'd like to share. However it came as a pdf attachment on Ok legislature letterhead. If you're interested I can send it to you.

And on the technical side can you not allow the "Leave a Comment" window to be seen if a user is not logged in? I always assume I'm logged in and when I hit submit I get an error message telling me to log in first.
