    WE THE PEOPLE are sick of being treated like doormats and being your servants, working hard everyday and paying for your mess (without the option to not pay and appears to be growing by leaps and bounds and about to get even bigger with Obama), and we are sick of RINO’s – in my opinion a RINO is worse than a democrat because a RINO votes like a democrat, blocks conservatives, and gives Republicans a bad name.

    Erick – would you ever consider running for office to help clean up D.C.? We need strong conservative patriots with strong spines and no fear, I see that in your post and in your other posts – you would have my vote and I will personally will work as hard as I can and then some for any TRUE conservative candidate (fiscal, social, and national security conservative) who is willing to go to the cesspool that was once a truly honorable place where patriots led our nation and if that candidate will go to D.C. and fight against the greedy, arrogant, out of touch, corrupt bunch of scandalous heathens that currently run D.C. (with a few exceptions – House Conservative GOP members (my favorites are Mike Pence, Lynn Westmoreland, and John Linder but there are more great ones) and some of the GOP Senators (NOT Mitch McConnell or any other pansy that has an R behind their name but does what is listed above in Erick’s post)!!! If a politician such as McConnell puts his power and his job above America that shows his character (or the lack there of).

    I feel so strongly about the direction our nation is headed I have went back to college to first get my political science degree and then plan on going on to law school to help fight for our nation, fight for our Constitution, for my son, for future generations, in honor of my grandfathers (Marines – Korean War & Air Force – WWII) and all others who have served our country, for those who founded this country – we must stand up and fight if not we will not know America that we were born in to!!!

    President Ronald Reagan said it best when he said:
    “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”

    I know this response was long and blunt but it was from the heart – I love America – we must fight to protect America and our Constitution.
    God bless America, our troops and all those who still believe in Liberty. – now let’s get busy and work hard like President Reagan said and return our Nation to it’s founding principles and values.

    Whichever of you becomes Chair, your task, beginning in 2012 is to start the search for McConnell’s primary opponent in 2014. In 2010, your job is to find his replacement as Minority Leader.

    like the ants in the ant and grasshopper story. The ant worked and worked and warned the grasshopper you better prepare for winter and the grasshopper just laughed and played – when winter came the ant was ready and the grasshopper was not – we have to be ready. I think the other side may be so star struck by their king that they may be like the grasshopper (I hope so).

    if we make a big enough push to get rid of McConnell there are so many squish Republicans in the Senate they’ll likely cram McCain down our throats and Minority leader!

    The typical Senator thinks he/she the smartest person in the world and is destined to be President. The Senate is all about debating and having to learn the tricks in the rules. They have no idea how to actually govern a darn thing or make tough decisions. Obama is the epitome of this, and he’s stacking his cabinet with other deadbeat Senators and ancient Clinton retreads. What a disaster these next four years are going to be…

    I think a good portion of the current crop of Senators actually likes being in the minority. It gives them all the perks without any of the responsibiility.

    The Senate has always been this way. It’s sad, we’re going to have to spend decades trying to fix the crap that gets in the next 4 years.

    even when we had the Majority in the Senate the Democrats called the shots and the Republicans gave in without e whimper…I’m so sick of this I can’t stand it!

    Going along with the Dems on giving them more seats on committees when there was almost parity between Dems and Repubs is a prime example…We gained enough seats in 2004 to change the balance back to what it was but didn’t…and look what’s happening now…Reid has yanked it back…so what good did it do the suckers to accommodate the Dems…it darn sure hasn’t gained them any good will has it?
