EDITOR OF REDSTATE

Rush Limbaugh at CPAC

At 5:00 p.m. today at CPAC, Rush Limbaugh will close out the show. The audience will be huge. The speech will be awesome. And we’ll be bringing it to you live on RedState.

Oh, and if God smiles on me today, I’ll get to meet Rush.

It may be a Saturday, but things haven’t slowed down.

This is the best CPAC I’ve ever been to.

and see if you can get him to post here, from time to time…

Rush hasn’t spoken at CPAC for a while, IIRC.

But I’m angry because I won’t be home at 12:30 for Coulter’s speech.

Next year, Inshallah, I will make my first pilgrimage to CPAC2010. This year’s is better than last by tenfold. The highlight was the buzz over whether Gov. Mitt Romney, our last best hope, would drop out and endorse Sen. McCain.

When are the governors of AK, LA and IN going to address CPAC?

Newt lit up the socializing and tax-to-death plans of our president and Congress:

or at least wears a bulletproof vest. Rush, as he said himself, has now taken over where Bush left off. He is the new one to hate by Obama and his maniacs.

I am thrilled that this has been the best CPAC yet. It means Conservatism is not in the Wilderness, and will come back stronger than ever. I wish Palin would have been able to make it.

Erick, don’t they do a straw poll of some sort on the 2012 possibilities? Have they done it, and if so who won? If Huckabee won, please don’t answer and ruin my day.

I’ll do my best. I owe them a thank you card for a baby gift.

No fair to rub it in for those of us who didn’t make it there. You are a cruel, cruel man.

    Have fun… :-)

What are the attendees saying about 2010 and 2012? Is there a lot of positive energy going on??

People at CPAC were very excited. The convention was electric, the mood jubilant, and Limbaugh’s speech phenomenal. The tone of the entire3 days was very much indicative of a return to conservative roots of small government. I heard lots of comments after Limbaugh’s speech and the close of the conference about how excited for the movement’s future people are.

Obama’s record fast overreaching is producing a backlash. Mark my words: conservatives are coming!
