Take a look at the NRSC website, they’ve already changed Snarlin Arlen to a D, but no “news” listed as of yet that he’s switched parties. Sharp bunch there.

Given that it’s an off-year election, something like Operation Chaos II would be highly effective if the Republicans can get motivated. PA Republicans need to switch party affiliation, and vote for Specter’s challenger in the Democratic Primary.

Arlen could make a move to the left and even the Kos kooks would still be pissed at him.

I found it funny Arlen mentioned the # of voters who switched parties in PA. Wonder how many were Operation Chaos voters that still won’t support him.

Pat Toomey’s campaign should beat Arlen over the head with this quote from his press release:

show the increase in unemployment and deficits between then and now and show what an utter failure the stimulus has been.
