    Take a look at the NRSC website, they’ve already changed Snarlin Arlen to a D, but no “news” listed as of yet that he’s switched parties. Sharp bunch there.

    Given that it’s an off-year election, something like Operation Chaos II would be highly effective if the Republicans can get motivated. PA Republicans need to switch party affiliation, and vote for Specter’s challenger in the Democratic Primary.

    Arlen could make a move to the left and even the Kos kooks would still be pissed at him.

    I found it funny Arlen mentioned the # of voters who switched parties in PA. Wonder how many were Operation Chaos voters that still won’t support him.

    Pat Toomey’s campaign should beat Arlen over the head with this quote from his press release:

    “When I supported the stimulus package, I knew that it would not be popular with the Republican Party. But, I saw the stimulus as necessary to lessen the risk of a far more serious recession than we are now experiencing.”

    show the increase in unemployment and deficits between then and now and show what an utter failure the stimulus has been.

    Toomey is too conservative to win in the general against Specter or another democrat if Specter loses the primary. An Operation Chaos II is a stupid Idea because at least you know Specter isn’t going to vote with the dems 100% of the time (see card check) like a true dem will.

    PA will be so sick and disgusted with the Obama administration by 2010 there will be a SWEEP and OBTW don’t come in on your first post telling anyone what is or is not a stupid idea….until you put something up yourself you are in NO position to judge anyone else!
