We conservatives who live in Florida know what Crist is…..a big fat liar! My jaw dropped when I saw what he wrote on twitter. And he actually talks to his mother with that lying mouth! He should be struck down by lightning, and since Florida is the lightning capital of the world, this would be the perfect place. Let’s put a lightning rod on his head.

Please, please support Marco Rubio for Senator!

Apologies in advance as I don’t deal very well with anyone who’s recently shown their true colors as nothing more than an opportunist who I helped put into office…….. I’d like to somehow respectfully remind Governor Crist that he is still the Governor of one of the 50 States of The United States of America.

I’s also like to suggest Governor Crist considers that fact when it’s rather obvious to folks (some who live thousands of miles away) that at times, he’s not doing his job as Governor of one of the 50 States of The United States of America.

I happen to reside in the State where Mr. Crist is the Governor… I’d like to know he will somehow continue to think about our state from time to time in his remaining months in office, while he is out and about hustling money and maybe even lying through his teeth campaigning for a Senate seat in which, if won, I and many others have this odd feeling Governor Crist will make our esteemed current Senators (Martinez and Nelson) look like world-beaters by comparison.

Ooooh, did I just say that?…….. yep. I sure did.

I will make one and only one suggestion to Governor Crist for his remaining months in office…… Please pay attention to our State…….. Please ?

It’s not that hard…. Really. I swear, it’s not that big of a task to ensure that the state Legislature invokes the 10th Amendment clause within the first hour of the next session in Tallahassee.

Along with that, upholding The State Constitution and all laws (especially that pesky 2nd Amendment thingy along with the itty-bitty Castle Doctrine add-on) should be a natural to anybody who believes in Rights, freedoms and liberties of the individual.

You do believe in our State’s Rights and Rights, freedoms and liberties of the individual, don’t you Governor Crist ?

NO, I’m not referring to Crist…. I was wondering when this was going to start up again….. and on the same day as excusing a CapNTrader voter.. Interesting. Always fun to see folks doing the Democrats work…. but….

You might be surprised, we do not all agree

There are alot of Diaries and Comments regarding the whole Crist, NRSC, and Rubio related situation. I just wanted to take a moment to say to anyone that has not decided what to think, or hasn’t seen the other side of the discussion yet, review/consider additional information discussed beyond just this (and others on same topic) Diary. All “I” ask of “anyone undecided/uncertain” (as I am not going to change minds made up, and others are not going to change my position) is that other “Opinions,” analysis, proposed strategies, commentary, etc… be considered. Review the points in this Diary and other Diaries and decide for yourself.

First, where I agree with the seeming majority here at RS. We need more Conservatives [Conservatives: Who,Where,When? Diary] in Leadership roles in the Party, Elected to Office, etc… Should we support Rubio? YES! At this Conservative Candidates Diary you can see about several Races (beyond FL Rubio and PA Toomey) and it includes a link to where you can donate to Rubio (it is a special RS setup by Erick so that it is secure and Rubio gets the donation knowing that it came from someone here at RS). We also AGREE that Pat Toomey is the RIGHT choice in every way for PA over Ridge (and an EFFECTIVE arguement was able to be made to stop the NRSC from helping Ridge into the Race and parts of that effective argument were: using Primaries to build up future candidates (which Toomey already accomplished and has the leg-up State-wide in PA [same examination can/should be made in FL, IMO]), working together, Voting Psychology (Bandwagon and other effects), and more. (You’ll find a link to Toomey’s campaign to donate to as well as Rubio’s in that Conservative Candidates link.)

Where I part company from some of my fellow RedStaters is that I openly/often state that am prepared to support Crist IF he is the General Election nominee, beyond just the discussion of the Primary battle (and that “I understand” where those supporting Crist for the Primary are coming from “Strategy” wise). Should we donate to Crist now? NO, IMO. I am not, he has a good start and will have enough financial support in FL, and that is part of the many points (see those here: Crist/Rubio 12 points [with links]) of why even retiring FL Senator MEL MARTINEZ ENDORSES CRIST (the Hill) for the U.S.Senate seat he is retiring from (see for yourself). Martinez has also endorsed someone to replace Gov. Crist Martinez endorses McCollum since Crist should move on to the Senate (IN MARTINEZ’S thoughts/strategy/plan/opinion). As if you hadn’t heard yet, Cornyn/NRSC endorsed Crist based on some of the same reasoning/strategy noted in that “12 points” link I mentioned earlier. It is all about an overall Strategy to defeat Democrats and return Republicans (and the GOP (still Conservative) Platform) to a position to exert power, but first we must get Democrats away from the 60 Senator mark, and losing the FL Senate seat to the Democrats is NOT an option (some are of the opinion Rubio may win the seat while other opinions are that Crist will win the seat, but that Crist has less an uphill climb to achieve it, allowing Time/Energy/Money to be focused in other Senate Races [IL for one?]) in these strategies. The strategies employed are on a Location by Location basis viewing each battleground with an eye to achievable objectives both short and long term (both theirs, and mine - as we will NOT have Conservative control of the country w/o Republican control of the country also). We must halt the ObamAgenda creating ObamaFAIL all while working toward our own CONSERVATIVE successes. We would certainly hear the obligatory “They should stay out of the Primaries” if the NRSC had endorsed Rubio, but we certainly wouldn’t be seeing Daily Diaries about it.

I have specifically said to Erick in one of his Diaries that I understand, appreciate, AND SUPPORT, the need to keep pressure on the NRSC. I am NOT asking anyone to stop commenting about the NRSC. It IS needed, if/when/where done in a manner to remind them that the CONSERVATIVE STANDPOINT/MESSAGE IS NOT WHAT LOST - THE REVERSE IS TRUE! Democrats running as CINOs and PLINOs co-opted the Conservative message to get elected (the CONSERVATIVE message/position is the right and winning position) yet those Democrat CINOs/PLINOs still support the Ultra-Left ObamAgenda, and voters need to be reminded of that also. We must return to the Conservative path regardless of who is on the ticket and in office! I do not consider it an effective strategy to just scream at them about it. Which is why I take it beyond just talk/print and I devised a Strategy to send the NRSC, RNC, etc, a PHYSICAL message about our Conservative DEMANDS via the “3D” (creating an NRSC:) Daily Dimes Dichotomy Strategy, all our words may be ignored but when the message shows up in PHYSICAL FORM at their doorstep we can/will be more effective. So I also ask you to consider to be part of something more than just creating posts they probably are ignoring anyway and send them an actual message via that strategy at that link (additional discussion on the Daily Dimes Dichotomy or Dimes Donations Dichotomy - 3D - strategy here). Why? Because they seem to understand MONEY and we need to speak AT them in the language they understand!

Concluding. Support Conservative Candidates [with donation links] in PRIMARY Elections, Support Republican Candidates in General Election Campaigns as we will NEVER have Conservative Control without Republican control and we must stop the ObamAgenda, Donate where/when you can, review all available information!!! Rubio can and should push Crist about Conservatism while not trying to destroy him and his General Election chances and Crist must be “friendly” and careful so as to not harm Rubio for a potential run against Bill Nelson (D-FL) in the next Senate run that Rubio will be in a great position to take on (Are we preparing Conservatives via 2010 Campaigns for ‘12,’14,’16 Races? - shouldn’t we be?!?!).

Despite my making an “exception” for Crist… Just in case Crist is looking (doubtful):

the “Republican Revolution” of the 90’s was mis-labeled, it was really the “CONSERVATIVE Revolution” and it brought Republicans to power; likewise, it was the “Reagan Conservative” Revolution, not a Republican Revolution. Many Republicans forgot that along the way. That led the way for CINO Democrats to lie their way back into power, but it was a “Conservative” co-opted (read: they lied about their intent) that voters allowed themselves to be duped into. Republicans need to REMEMBER that! Conservatism did NOT lose Elections, bad Politicians (with R’s beside their name) did!

If he comes out in support of Rubio, than Rubio will win. Bush has better favorable than Crist does statewide (despite not being a “moderate”) and will help give Rubio good name recognition where he doesn’t have it.

Rubio also creamed Crist in a Pasco county straw poll, 73 to 9. Pasco is significant, as it’s leaders endorsed Crist early in the 2006 primary, and the governor himself once called the county “My Backyard” (he is from a neighboring county)

The way things were set up: Martinez (who “believes in global warming”, his word: “believe”) would step down, succeeded by Rubio. Meanwhile, Crist (Mr. Florida Global Warming) keeps Governor’s Mansion in GOP in 2010, so that Census results and resulting districting changes made with GOP leadership. Senator “I never take a stand on anything but co-sponsor a lot of resolutions” Nelson gets challenged by Crist when Nelson is up for re-election. (Nelson co-sponsored Ted Kennedy’s Service America Bill. I read some of it and just shook my head at the excrement.)

Unfortunately, Crist got greedy (and likely a bit full of himself after handpicking McCain last year) and has caused the whole set of elections screwed up for 2010. People in good positions now have to try to move up before their time (McCollum for governor, and others too) and thus, the scramble is on. The governorship is up for grabs, and it needn’t be that way, and Crist is not a shoo-in for Senator.

And yes, Crist has not been a conservative. His dominance over the Florida GOP (with buddy Greer) really upsets local folks. The lesson: do not elect simple law-and-order Attorneys General to be Governor. There was another one recently…by the name of Spitzer. It is better to get someone who has made public opinions on legislative issues, and has had to live with those opinions.

Last week this was related on a Tampa newstalk station (within its news break as a news item, not during a talk segment). They said only slightly more than half Florida students finish high school on time. In any case, this is a national crisis (may be true in other states). There should be PSA’s running every hour to bring attention to this. I’m now hearing Obama spots on radio to join one of his Acorn groups (only he calls it something else). The point is, every Acorn member Charlie Crist knows should be volunteering to monitor kids’ homework, make sure they get to school, etc.

You will notice from his remark about “rising oceans…harming the Everglades” he is a full on-board believer in Al Gores claim that the oceans will rise 20′ (only way they can reach the Everglades).

The reality is that Bill Nelson has never had an original thought float through his brain. If it were not for the puppet strings racks controlling him, you would think he is dead. Wrack him up as a true Cap & Traitor.

We will have to excuse him though. He will not read the bill, not because he does not have the time, because he cannot understand written thought.
