Mary Bono Mack Should Be Burned in Effigy and Voted Out of Office

It would no doubt be illegal under her cap and trade legislation.

Thank God she’s feeling the heat. She should feel more than that. She should feel the force of voters voting her out of office.

Mary Bono Mack, unlike some of her Republican colleagues who voted for cap-and-trade ( see e.g. Dave Reichert), does not live in a district that would punish her for cap-and-trade opposition. She was perfectly safe to vote no.

That she did not means she should now be targeted.

Redemption? Vote against it should it come back from the Senate via Conference and actively oppose Obamacare.

Otherwise, we beat her and her husband at the polls.

Yes, you heard me. We can get at Mary Bono Mack in two ways — her district and that of her husband. He should feel the heat just as much as her.

This is what she said: ” While, not perfect, this bill takes bold steps forward that will help create new green jobs, build a stronger , more sustainable American energy supply and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.”

Now I have just one little question…HOW CONGRESS WOMAN CAN YOU SAY THIS BILL WILL DO ANYTHING WHEN NO ONE HAD A CHANCE TO READ IT?! I WOULD REALLY LIKE AN ANSWER TO THAT. THERE’S NO WAY YOU READ THIS BILL WHEN AT 3AM 300 PAGES WERE ADDED TO IT. YOU ARE A LIAR. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

Sorry for the caps, but I am damn angry about the PR speak from politicians who couldn’t possibly know whats in the bill they are shoving you know what up our butts about!

You are way too kind. (I also don’t like the profanity ban at times like this)

Her emal and phone system should be clogged to overloading. Her offices should be picketed. She should be confronted Code Pink style where ever she goes.

And should raise up a challenger… by putting a price on her head… 50k raised here for the person to beat her

and her little dog (of a husband) too

If somebody out here in Riverside County, CA wants to take a stab at the CD 45 primary, I’ll volunteer to get your website going.

And conveniently, I happen to know some guys at a site called Red State where that site will then somehow get the attention of guys like Erick.

    Funny how that works.

    I’m stuck in CA-53… :(

He knows that here in the 5th District, he is increasingly becoming known as “One Term Tommy.” As Rush pointed out, because of this bill, we will now be buying more foreign oil. Oil ain’t goin’ away anytime soon.

  • Doc Holliday

if she was against foreign energy dependence she would be focusing on American energy such as coal and oil, not dream land “green energy” sources that have proven to be economically non viable.

If you can outnumber the communists in Charlottesville, he’s gone.

and will be watching for that “donate” button should someone come forward

and you have to say to yourself “Are these congress people really this stupid?” and yes I would have to say that Mary Bono Mack is about a dumb as a stump. If you follow the Cap & Trade debate you will know that anything she said has NOTHING to do with Cap & Trade.

    The quote should really read:

?While, not perfect, this bill takes devasting steps forward that will destroy jobs, produce a weaker, less sustainable American energy supply and increase our dependence on foreign oil.?

Because this is what Cap & Trade will do….
And NO ONE has any real answers about where the money goes…
    Hmmmmmmmmm

This is so appalling. How many bills passed without reading does it take for Congress to put a stop to this??

This has to be the most unheard of process ever, besides appointing czars, If Honduras can oust their leader for not upholding their constitution, what say US?

? While, not perfect, this bill takes bold steps forward that will help create new green jobs, build a stronger , more sustainable American energy supply and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.?

OK, now I am starting to think that her bed is buttered by someone else. Connolly (D; VA-11) in his BS letter to me wrote the identical paragraph. OK, which company or lobbyist wrote this?

  • izoneguy

but whoever did she be burned in Effigy also.
    Al Gore probably wrote it.
Once Al Gore becomes a millionaire he will probably balloon up to 400 lbs…. sort of like this guy:

  • izoneguy

China, India & Russia??? Cap & Trade will weaken national security.
Let’s see how long the average America will be willing to pay for Cap & Trade. Cap & Trade is something we could rollback but if the congress has the same attitude towards National Health Care then I hope you are in perfect health.

I’m getting tired of hearing people conflate energy used for transportation and energy used for generating electricity.

This bill will do nothing to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. I have yet to see a car powered by sunshine and hot air. Windmills and solar panels will generate electricity but will do nothing for transportation.

As an engineer with an MBA I’ve done the research and crunched the numbers. It would take 8,000 3.6 MW GE wind turbines spread over 500 square miles (a square 22.5 miles on a side) to replace the output of a single nuclear power plant.
Although the rated output of the GE wind turbine 3.6 MW, it only achieves that output at high sustained wind speeds. The average wind speed in the windiest parts of the US are 1/3 that required for maximum wind turbine output. And the power generated is not a linear function. At the average wind speed of 5 m/s the output of GE’s 3.6 MW wind turbine is only 0.4 MW. That’s why it takes 8,000 and is why wind power is a joke.
    Solar is an equal joke.
The Liberals are going to make us suffer mightily before the ignorant among us “get it”.

Once Gumment Motors and Fiat are supplied with all the C&T coupons they want, Ford, Toyota, et al will need to buy coupons, then the only cars on the lots will be the Obamamobile and Fiat’s tin cans. They’ll run on ethanol. Presto! No more oil imports!

  • DerKrieger

…70+% of Americans that screamed “Drill Here, Drill Now” just last year?

Clearly a majority of Americans don’t support CaT if last year’s outrage is any indication.

I find it odd enough that two married Republicans represent districts on opposite sides of the country. Makes meeting residency requirements interesting.

It would be ill-advised to oppose Connie Mack, the Husband, just because his wife is from California. He voted against the bill.

  • GregInFla

Do they just live full-time in DC? I’m sorry, but I just don’t get it. He lives in Ft. Myers Fla, and she in California? I see an audit and election board inquiry in the future. I guess with her being a “moderate” Republican (pro-choice, pro-tax, pro-big-government) and Connie Mack IV a conservative Republican, it must be easier not living together. The Sanfords probably talk more to each other.

Rescind all laws passed during the Obama years.

No increases in funding except for Constitutionally mandated tasks–national defense, homeland security, etc.

Reduce budget for all other programs and projects.

Reduce tax rates across the board.

Divest government ownership in all “private” enterprises.

Promise to not seek re-election once these tasks are accomplished.

  • Flagstaff

the only responsible vote would have been “no,” no matter what it said.

  • Flagstaff

me wonder why Vanity Fair didn’t ridicule her. (Of course I do know why.) Sarah Palin has real accomplishments of her own; she isn’t in office because her husband hit a tree. Airhead Southern California women must have some attraction to conservative men. Relative youth helps, too. She doesn’t belong in a place where she can vote on issues that affect the whole world.
