The Greatest Thing Ever Written About Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Friends, I’m on vacation on a mountain top in rural Georgia. Cell phone service is non-existent. Internet is hit, but mostly miss.

I have come down off the mountain today for one reason and one reason only:

To make sure you read this.

It is the one and only thing you need to read today and it pleases me greatly a friend wrote it. Someone needed to write it. Someone needed to say it.

Sometimes, when it comes to an issue like abortion, people slip up and say what they mean. It’s seldom a point deemed appropriate for public discussion, but on occasion someone will point out that a hugely disproportionate number of abortions are executed upon black and Hispanic children. Occasionally, a pro-life person will even go so far as to wonder whether, for many supporters of legalized abortions, this fact is a feature of the system, not a bug. Supporters of legalized abortion at this point, offended by the idea, will typically recoil in horror at the suggestion, insisting that no responsible supporter of legalized abortion feels that way. Most abortion proponents will then insist that the disproportionate numbers of minority abortions is an unintended (and surely undesirable!) consequence of this nonetheless important social policy.

Thankfully, we have people like Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg around to remind us what an insidious lie this is, as she does in this weekend’s New York Times.

The money quote from Ginsburg’s own monstrous mouth? This: “Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of. So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion.”

The greatest thing written about Ginsburg will be her obituary. And I don’t feel any qualms about saying that about a person who celebrates the death of “undesirable ” babies.

  • Vegas_Rick

Is she senile? Why is this not the front page headline in every paper across the country and the lead story on every television news cast?

    WOW!

  • http://applescorneroftheorchard.blogspot.com/ Pomme

We all know why we won’t be hearing this pointed out by any main media outlet. I’m frankly surprised it made it past the editors at the NYT.

and I certainly don’t wish it on anyone. I think God sent her a message with her bout with the dreadful disease, and, gave her a chance at redemption for the rest of her days. How dumb of me, as Liberals never learn. She will soon enough learn what a real “descent” is, rather than an assention into God hands.

  • nessa

Fortunately we all know she is a liberal and therefore cannot be racist! We will be informed soon that what she said was taken out of context, or given the Biden treatment- What she MEANT was…

    Thanks Eric!!

It seems unfounded to assume, based on racial abortion statistics, that this is what she meant, was thinking, or was implied. “Populations that we don’t want to have too many of” could easily include those with severe birth defects or children born to women that did not want them.

…that you didn’t bother to read the piece first; or that you clearly think that your defense actually makes it all better.

    Either way, scram.

    signed up two accounts on the same day, wow, that wasn’t obvious. {snickering}

  • eburke

17 days ago, or you’re the same idiot.

It could also be that your reply was just really bad snark.

    But I’m betting not.

So….if you didn’t see race in her comments, that doesn’t make us racists, it just makes you an idiot.

  • DONTREADONME

God does work in mysterious ways, I pray she wakes up to the call.

  • eburke

Oh…and ya might want to bring the blam stick.

  • JadedByPolitics

your “undesirables” retarded, disable etc. You disgusting liberals have no conscience and yet you put Republicans out at Hitler and the truth is Planned Parenthood and obviously Ginsberg are closer to wanting the “perfect race” than anything any Republican EVER SAID. I look forward to the day when Roe v Wade is OVERTURNED as being RACIST and HATEFUL law! go away you disgusting tool and tell your liberal friends that WE Conservatives are picking away at you and your hypocritical stand on race and WE will win the day.

This guy’s a freaking genius. He could be a Democrat.

    Oh…wait a minute…never mind.

  • Vegas_Rick

Nor is it intelligent enough to merit a considered response. Enjoy your banishment.

It’s the best abortion documentary I’ve ever seen.

Pretty off topic, I know. Sue me.

A frequently-used argument against the death penalty is that it is disproportionally used on minorities. Apparently it only matters when you kill them…

great ad by the NRCC. Glad to see they’re running stuff like this this far out!

I mean, its not like half of us got murdered for belonging to an undesirable population or anything.

I cannot write down in words how this statement, made by a Jew, makes me, a Jew who knows survivors, feel.

  • http://www.scottbomb.com scottbomb

Just ask Dr. Alveda King (niece of MLK) about Margaret Sanger, eugenics promoter and founder of Planned Parenthood. Abortion clinics are scarce in affluent neighborhoods but rather abundant in the inner city neighborhoods.

  • Joe_Cor

Gerald Ford was part of an effort to impeach Earl Warren. Perhaps some Republican Congresspeople should revive the idea for Ginsberg. It seems a gross violation of jurisprudence to view the Supreme Court as an instrument for furthering the cause of eugenics. At the very least, perhaps such an effort could help enlighten the public on the mentality of the American left.

  • Scope

    is that better?

  • BillM

Ginsburg’s interviewer, Emily Bazelon (granddaughter iirc of David Bazelon, a 60′s DCC judge who ruled that a man pounding on the door of a closed business at night with a gun in his hand can’t be presumed to be a robber & that mentally patients have the rights to refuse medication and sleep on the streets) also recently reviewed the following book: http://www.slate.com/id/2222028/

“At the end of his uncompromisingly critical appraisal of the Supreme Court, James MacGregor Burns issues a challenge to the high bench that could make the justices fall right off it. In Packing the Court, Burns imagines a president?he hopes this president?leading Congress to pass progressive legislation that amounts to a new New Deal. If a “hostile” Supreme Court then struck down such a compact, the president, Burns proposes, should refuse to obey the court. The president “would flatly announce that he or she would not accept the Supreme Court’s verdicts because the power of judicial emasculation of legislation was not?and never has been?in the Constitution.” ”

Mindboggling. So it would’ve been fine for Nixon not to “accept” Roe, Bush I not to “accept” Casey, W not to “accept” Lawrence, etc. I guess Clinton not “accepting” Bush v Gore would’ve been fine though.

One thing you have to give the libs credit for, they’re being very honest with their plans.

As for Ruthie and those icky people who should be aborted, where are FOX News & GOP Senators? Will Rush lead off tomorrow with this?

  • ciscoguy

Many of us Catholics, who are supposed to uphold values over economic interests (though I suspect many are now regretting their votes for those reasons), elected the most morally bankrupt president in US history. Welcome to the club.

As you recall, she didn’t want word to get out on the true motives and agenda of Planned Parenthood. The Roe court complied with a big pack of lies built on lies.

Ginsburg’s statement seems to correlate well with the recent release of Richard Nixon’s response to the Roe ruling when it was handed down. The eugenics motive is undeniable.

Starting in 2011 when a new Congress is seated.

I have no desire to hate liberals. I just find that they inspire that hatred. It’s hard. I really want to be fair. As an ORSA and a Cost Analyst, I’m expected to believe lots of impossible feke before breakfast and always try and at least understand oppossing views.

The more I understand this statement, the more I want to summon this woman’s inner child and beat its amoral, evil, bullying little @$$!

  • Jack_Savage

I could not help but think of Sanger when I read this – her evil philosphy permeates the pro-abortionists.

The reasoning behind Roe v Wade is on par with forced sterilization and other atrocities condoned by our government. It is a relic of an era when those considered beneath the elitists were sterilized or their babies aborted for “their own good”. They even did it to their own at times – Joseph Kennedy had the daughter that didn’t quite measure up lobotomized to calm her down, and she recently died where she lived her life after that moment – being cared for in a nursing home, far outside the reach of her family.

    Eugenics…. Progressives….. Superior race..

We have such perverted minds on supreme court. How can this be? I don’t know how I feel about this….. stoned….. don’t know really.

  • http://www.nighttwister.com NightTwister

Certainly God will deal with her, but I wouldn’t dare suggest how.

golfing or some such thing. I suspect he’ll be all over this next week when he returns.

I like him even better than Rush when he fills in. Walter Williams too.

… who ends sentences with prepositions? That is the worst thing ever written BY Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
