BREAKING: DNC calling Republicans asking for local office details [UPDATED]

I have confirmed from multiple Republican congressional offices that, despite Democrat attempts to portray American citizens as “Nazi-like” and “a mob” for questioning members of Congress on healthcare, the DNC is coordinating activity to target swing district Republican congressmen in their offices.

Multiple Republican offices have received calls from the Democratic National Committee in their district offices asking for the office hours of the office, when the Congressman is expected to be in the office, etc. Staffers in the offices are confident the data will be compiled by the DNC to send activists to Republicans’ offices to push the healthcare agenda.

In other words — while the Democrats are accusing the Republicans are orchestrating protestors at open townhalls, the Democrats are going to push activists straight into congressional offices to cause scenes fit for the local newscasts.

UPDATED: I just got off the phone with Congressman McCotter (R-MI). He has not seen the horde of protestors in his district that a lot of others have seen and told a reporter as much. Curiously, this afternoon the Democratic National Committee called his office asking about his in district schedule. The staffer who answered the phone asked who was calling and the person identified himself as a teenager living in district, despite caller ID showing “Democratic National Committee” with its Washington, D.C. phone number.

No doubt Congressman McCotter will now see protestors accompanied by a news crew.

I have been saying for a while that if you want to know what the left is going to do simply look at what they accused others of doing in the past…it is our best guide.

It looks as though the VRWC ought to have their ears to the ground. If they intend to flood Republican Congressmen’s offices with phony supporters, they’ll have to organize them somehow, we ought to be able to get wind of that and be there waiting with our own.

If they are planning on doing this, it means they are frustrated and angry. Good.

Remember the stories about how they are hoping for some sort of backlash from these townhall disasters they’ve been running into? Guess they’ve gone onto plan Q: Change the story. And of course, their lapdogs in the media are already drooling over the possibility of being able to get a photo of even one pro-socialist healthcare supporter in a Republican office. Kinda like how they’d do a whole story about the “big” anti-war protest where the media cameras outnumber the protesters 5 to 1.

It remains the most pervasive and predictable trait of humans in general.

There… fixed your post for you. People love to blame their own faults on others… its what we do as humans.

Folks, we still have the internet and YouTube.
    E-mail.
    Web pages.
    Blogs.
    Etc.

You probably have a cell phone. It might have built into it video capture. Some are easy to use, some aren’t. Get one that is.

If you don’t want that kind of phone, then get a digital handheld camera that captures digital video. I’ve got a Casio Exilim that has a YouTube sticker on it. It’s easy to use. Even has a good zoom on it. The video card in it will hold hours of video. Cost? About $100. A year ago. Probably costs less now.

I have a FlipVideo camera. Easy to use. Built in USB port. Transfers the video you my harddrive, then you shoot it to YouTube. Ten-minute-or-less videoclips can be loaded to YouTube for free. My FlipVideo only holds 25 minutes of footage; the newer ones hold a lot more. Cost is in the $100 – $150 range. I got mine on sale at OfficeMax, I think, in the spring of 2008 for less than $100.

Then send out alerts to the news media that the video exists.

If the media is there at the event, videotape THEM.

If the Organizing for America/ACORN/whatever brownshirts show up, video tape their antics.

    Etc.

These tools exist. We need to use them. If I can figure out the basics, anyone can. Indeed, I probably know less than the basics, but I was at least able to shoot video of Liz Cheney, Marco Rubio, Michael Williams and Nikki Haley at the Redstate Gathering and get them up on YouTube. Politico found the Liz Cheny videos and reposted them on their site.

    Here they are on Redstate.com:

You can search for the others using the Redstate search pane or searching on YouTube.

    Thank you.

The Tea Party has people who would, I expect, love to counter-protest. I know the Tea Party doesn’t want to be closely associated with either party but in this case they are on the same side.

The congressman gets some defense/offense – Tea Party get to show some muscle and pick up IOUs. Everybody wins.

It’s only “projection” if it’s unconscious and unintentional. That may be the case in some Democrats, but in many of them (most notably those in the White House) it’s not projection, it’s a dishonest tactic.

They deliberately, consciously, and consistently lie — about themselves, about their intentions, about their tactics, and about their opponents.

Lying is the most pervasive and predictable leftist trait.
