Just got the news that my company just laid off a pretty sizable number of employees. Most of my customers had a round of layoffs this week as well. Things are very, very bleak in the real world. People are understanding that we are a loooong way from being out of this thing, and are tightening their belts even more - personally and corporately.

When hearing about some of these issues, my first response is ‘what would a reasonable person think’.
Truther = “George Bush brought down the twin towers”
Birther = “Obama was born in ”

Truthers never met the ‘reasonable’ test. What benefit did Bush get from it? If it was to launch the war against Iraq to avenge Daddy, why not recruit Iraqis instead of mostly Saudis? Why go after Afghanistan first? And even though he is/was the most horrible, worst president EVER (their belief), would he REALLY kill all those people just to launch a war? Not reasonable. Even my liberal friends (I live in union-rich NY, hard to find anything but liberals) would laugh at this argument. So the reasonable test is far-fetched for them also.

Birther - didn’t meet my ‘reasonable’ test either. How could he make it so far into the process with no one checking this (Hillary). But the one question no one reasonably can answer is “Why not just show it and shut them up?”
I know LOTS of Obama supporters who have doubts. Most of them, as I do, suspect he is indeed a NBC, but that the cert has some evidence of lies in his campaigns, books, etc.
We all saw the towers come down due to planes. NO ONE has claimed to see a document that 95% of Americans have had to show for some reason or another.
Is it a reason to impeach. Yea, right. Is it ammunition to be used for re-election? Why not! Let’s face it - many of the voting public are not very sophisticated politically. If this makes them question the candidate, do we CARE what reason they use to NOT vote for someone?
I also think the LAW is important here. If we care about the words in the Constitution, then we should care that they are followed. This whole ‘birther’ issue has shown the flaws in the SoS powers at the state level to block / require proof of eligibility.

What is more [or less] preposterous, that Obama was born outside the United States, or that Bush was a party to the greatest, most horrific massacre in American history?
Bush, supposed mass murderer , can’t even bring himself to respond to Hussien’s repetitive slanders.
Hussien can’t get thru the day without serial lies and demonizing any and all who dissent.

The problem with Hussien is not so much where he was born but the depressing fact that he was born in the first place.
But given the direction we have been heading in for years, if not Hussien then some other power mad statist hungering to ruin this country.

Almost all of us have had to produce a BC for such things as driver’s licenses and passports. While I have no reason to believe that BHO was not born in this country, I do believe he is hiding something. Could it be that Barack Obama Sr isn’t really his father? Maybe Frank Marshall Davis. The entire mistique of his life, starting with “Dreams of My Father” would be totally blown out of the water.

As of today, September 4, 2009, this Affidavit has been filed with the United States District Court in Southern California ~ represented by Orly Taitz.

This is a legal affidavit that declares Lucas Smith to be of sound mind and judgment. Lucas can go to jail if he lied on this affidavit.

When Judge Carter in Santa Ana CA was first presented with this case, he didn’t mock anyone, call it frivilous, or dismiss it. He said he understands the importance of Constitutional eligibility. He told everyone to be present in his chambers on September 8, 2009 at 8:00AM Pacific Time, and to have their papers in order. He is a former Marine.

The comparisson between the truthers and birthers, is nothing but an attempt to discredit people who know he is not Natural Born. I don’t believe for a minute, that GWB had any involvement with people flying planes into buildings, killing thousands of people. I do believe, especially with his questionable behavior, and pattern of lying, that it is entirely plausible, that he is lying about a simple document. One that shows he is not Natural Born, as he says he is.

Considering the “bigger picture”, could it be that Van Jones is simply a “whipping boy” for Obama? Recall that Obama is just as radically caustic as Van Jones, Obama as well as Van Jones was NOT vetted, and criticism has been falling especially hard on Obama now that voters realize the “hopy-changy” Obama was really referring to was COMMUNISM.
