Conservative Activists Are Proving to be a Pathetic Bunch

Some of you will take offense at this post. Instead, you should take action.

The Democrat opponent to Congressman Joe Wilson has raised over $400,000.00 since last night.

What have you given to Joe Wilson. The man spoke for America. And now we need to open our wallets for Joe.

It does no good to pat Joe on the back or give him an “atta boy.” Joe Wilson needs us to open our wallets and checkbooks. Joe Wilson is now a serious threat to Barack Obama because he dared point out that the Emperor has no clothes. The left will target him. The left will target his family. The left will try to destroy Joe Wilson.

We can stop the left. But we must give generously to Joe.

Prove that conservatives are not pathetic activists. Put your money where your mouth is.

Give to Joe.

    …is this on-line poll. I note with interest that while a majority feel Wilson was out of line, a majority also say Obama isn’t telling the truth. In other words, it seems as if Wilson’s outburst is something civil people feel obligated to criticize, many of those same people believe him and do not believe Obama.

    At the end of the day, this deal will likely help Wilson and hurt Obama.

    but I almost didn’t. The web form wanted too much personal information – why do they need my home, work AND mobole phone numbers, or for that matter, my employer name? I left all of these blank and the form complained, requiring them to be filled in before it accepted my money. And yet, at the bottom, it claims they’re not responsible for the privacy of that information!

    I compromised and gave them fake phone numbers and a company name. If they won’t accept my money because of that, too bad. But I’m not going to have my company’s switchboard forwarding political calls to me while at work – or my cell phone ringing with them. Demanding that stuff is just STUPID.

    I see that Joe apologized for his outburst … Damn – I drafted an apology for him but didn’t get it to him in time … it reads like this …

    I’m in. Also, I’m wondering if there could be a “sticky” post that has links for all of the candidates we need to support. What I have in mind is something that I see at some of the tech forums I visit (such as AVS Forum – - see here: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=167). Don’t know how hard it is to do something like that but it would keep these worthy candidates on our front burner. Thanks again!

    I could not bring myself to watch Obama’s speech because all I would do is yell liar at everything he said. As soon as I heard what happened with Joe Wilson, I immediately went to the web site and made a donation to his campaign. More people in power need to speak out and it’s unfortunate it happened the way it did, but I salute Joe Wilson for speaking up. Even though I don’t know anything about him and can’t vote for him, he got some of my money. We can’t let the left win on this one.

    There is no way Wilson’s opponent got that much that quick without help. I would be curious to see who made the “donations.”

    This is a message being sent. Don’t mess with us. And there are people out there who actually believe that these same democrats will show compassion in caring for the sick, rather than taking the same funds and raking some off the top for their own personal gain.

    Watching today’s democrats in action is like watching Russian politics under Putin. All smiles, lead pipes and brass knuckles.

    When will you start taking the mental chain off your ankle? Here you live in a country that gave you the freedom to pursue happiness, yet you want to go back to the days of being own. Believe it or not, most of these people on this site is fighting to keep us free from slavery to government. This country history was not the best of humanity, but I don’t believe any country out there can claim that either. Africans were selling to here and everywhere else, how come no one want to acknowledge this minor fact? Lets take a part of the president’s message of 9/11, “move on” and forget about our enemies. Here you are hating something that was not done to you directly, but generations ago. If you think that opportunity was not offered you, just look around Oprah, Will Smith, or better yet, Obama.
