Obamacare Only Healthy for Lawyers

Rowan Scarborough has the top story at Human Events today.

Tucked away in the thousands of pages of the Democrats’ health care overhaul bill are a number of gifts to the trial lawyers. Which, by the way, are the Party’s largest financial backers.

“America’s Affordable Health Choices Act” establishes new routes by which insurance company employees can sue. It sets up new mandates and regulations on care providers, providing more avenues to go court. And it will allow lawyers to file suits over decisions made by arbiters in patient vs. insurance company disputes.

This analysis comes from Republican congressional staffers, who tell HUMAN EVENTS they plan to offer a full report later this week.

    it will also mean more MINIMUM WAGE Office Administrative Paper pushers to handle all the paper-work.

    HR3200 will drive up costs (so any Public Option Trigger compromise – is Russian Roulette with a fully loaded gun)…

    It is just dumb for anyone to entertain any thought that LIBERALS in Govt. will ever allow Costs (and Budgets) to ever go down!!!

    just as the CARS program hinted: Cash4Clunkers portends the HC fiasco in so many ways… Basic math!! all, of course, to drive us into that Public Option no matter how they achieve it… This Bill cannot be compromised with in any way shape or form — if the Liberals get this then they will just ram through the other pieces in other Legislation over the next few years.

    Claire McCackle (yes, I know I spelled it wrong, that is how I pronounce her name) has been on every talkshow going on and on about how they HATE MediGap BECAUSE IT IS PRIVATE and not Govt. Control precursor to their Public Option…..
