Did anyone watch it? How did Nikki Haley do?

did I miss something? 0bama looks like an idiot talking about Global Warming when the United States as a whole has experienced the 14th coldest summer in recorded history. So to anyone living in every state except Texas and Florida, how can you believe the drivel that comses from him?

  • Richard Mullins

your a global Idiot. I mean it too. Really, they come up with, “Well there was 51+ days in San Antonio of over 100 degree temps”, to which I say, “You haven’t noticed the high amount of Rain we been getting”. Really, it’s just an ebb and flow cycle. We dry years and wet years but it seems that we haven’t had a 7 yr drought here in Texas since the 50′s.

    of stupid sayings.

He’s the poster child for state run health care… I don’t care where he stands on the other issues or if he flip-flopped on it now. That one is a deal breaker.

even you. I think we need to milk this lazy government for everything it’s worth.

Oh yeah if you missed who I think started this recession, read this:

He’s got no credibility whatsoever, especially when he was so wrong on an issue that will still be in the minds of voters in 2012. I think the healthcare debate (and really, its association with RomneyCare), ended any future serious presidential runs for Mitt.

Not that I’m crying about it…

  • AHALgal

I live in the flooded area and I want to know where is FEMA?

    Where is the federal support?

Where are the pundits demanding the racists in Washington DC to help?

    Where are the celebrity telethons?

    It’s all George Bush’s fault.

Oh, and Mitt Romney needs to stay in the tanning bed and stop impersonating a conservative.

  • AHALgal

That guy is a boat anchor on the Republican party.

    newt-the-conservative-hour-has-come-again,

if the Dems cross the line with the nuclear option, obliterating a buffer that has served the US well since it was instituted in the Senate rules in the ~1830s, it would take simple majorities in both houses plus the presidency, or, two-thirds majorities in both houses to overcome a presidential veto.

The filibuster avoids the whipsaw costs that would ensue if major legislation could pass with thin majorities. The framers and those that instituted the Senate filibuster understood this, and intentionally placed the consensus bar high.

Invoking the nuclear option would cost the US in the long run in significantly increased whipsaw costs. (Pass it, repeal it, pass it, repeal it.) Once the protocol has been thrown in the garbage, it’s not coming back out.

Even the author thinks it was embarassing.

“…20 activists on a barren strip on Pennsylvania Avenue…” LOL.

I was always a bit shakey on Romney, his April endorsement of Bennett sealed the deal for me. Huntsman’s gone (hooray) and his replacement (Gary Herbert) so far has moved to the right from Huntsman’s positions

I thought the alleged financial guru would be over in Hong Kong by request of CLSA so he could give all those investors his take on a wide range of subjects.

Oops, that’s Sarah Palin that spoke to the Hong Kong investors. My bad.

Or is it Red State’s bad for not covering it AT ALL on your front page?

Your bias is showing. And it ain’t pretty. (Though Romney’s hair certainly is – is that why he’s good for the GOP?)

Listening to several attendees at Palin’s Hong Kong speech, they seem to think she’s a top contender for the 2012 GOP nom. But who are they?
