Another White House Name Surfaces in the ACORN Rolodex

Does this new link explain how Van Jones made it through vetting?

Last week we showed how Barack Obama is connected to ACORN by his White House Political Director, Patrick Gaspard.

The Missouri blog 24thstate.com has built on those ties and has a look at Sara Howard, Russ Carnahan’s spokesgal. Howard and Gaspard both worked for Americans Coming Together (“ACT”) in 2004. In that year, ACT sent out a sensational, hate filled political flier showing white men spraying black people with fire hoses in the sixties. The ACT flier claimed Republicans were trying to intimidate blacks into not voting.

Turns out the printer of the flier, along with Gaspard and Howard, is in the rolodex.

But the Editor of 24thstate.com brought to my attention another name on the list I had missed — another White House worker and one in a critical position to tie ACORN and the SEIU into the White House and entire Executive Branch.

Meet Nancy Hogan. Ms. Hogan is the Obama administration’s Director of the Office of Personnel.

Besides being the gatekeeper for White House jobs, the personnel director coordinates filling jobs throughout the government in the various agencies and on boards and commissions. The position calls for tip-toeing through countless political landmines ensuring that important constituencies and influential supporters’ concerns are satisfied and issues such as diversity are handled smoothly. It is, as one office veteran put it, “a constant jig-saw puzzle, constantly poring over lists” of candidates.

Hogan was the Obama campaign’s Northeast Political Director working in Brooklyn. Bertha Lewis’s contacts list has that information for Hogan, but the contacts list also contains Nancy Hogan’s cell phone number.

If ACORN, the Working Families Party, or the SEIU wanted a jobs program at the White House, they have a ready outlet with Gaspard as the Political Director and Nancy Hogan as the Director for the Office of Personnel.

We know Van Jones got by the Office of Personnel. Nancy Hogan’s name on the Lewis contacts list raises new questions about Jones’s vetting and hiring. The White House General Counsel is rumored to have raised objections that were overruled by Valerie Jarrett. But what role did Nancy Hogan play?

More importantly, who else got by Nancy Hogan and into the Executive Branch?

    Which, if you believe the lefties, is pretty damn influential.

    From my (limited but sufficent) understanding of the chain of command over there, the Political Director and the Counsel to the President vet all political appointees. The White House Military Office does the same for members of the National Security Council staff.
    Then, they coordinate with the USSS PPD and reach an agreement of whom is acceptable and who is not.

    Political Director, the Counsel and the Deputy Chiefs of Staff report to the Chief of Staff.

    When you think about it, we have a very small cabal of tightly connected people holding the levers of power now. These people go back many years, either directly or indirectly to the 1960s radical movement. They are committed to a socialist system of government at least and perhaps a Marxist one (hence the warm feelings for Chavez, Castro, etc.,). And they are not inhibited by the rule of law, the Constitution or the basic courtesies of governance (evidence by Obama’s enormous disrespect for the British). We truly have a band of political “outlaws” at the helm at the moment.

    The vetting system doesn’t have a problem in the personnel department or anywhere else.

    The vetting system isn’t being used, because these folks in the current administration are EXACTLY who are wanted and associated with on a day-to-day basis by the people pulling the strings.

    Looks like there are a lot of ACORNs around Oba-Mao to not know anything. I assume Oba-Mao was depending on the DNC-media to keep things hidden.

    It is not a stretch to imagine that these committed ideologues would have seen it righteous to “influence” an election, hiding behind a racial shield. Bill Clinton probably had it right during the primary.

When they realize that the voters no longer want them at the controls, will they give the controls up willingly or will it take an “Out of my cold, dead hands.” act to remove them, as removed they must be?

    Once again, Obama has lied about not knowing that ACORN was getting a lot of money from the taxpayers, he knew and stll know’s what is going on because he and Michelle have planned it this way. Where in the hell is the FBI? Where are the Republicans? Is any body out there? Obama is the enemy in the WH someone needs to investigate him. Obama and his administration, Czars need to be IMPEACHED NOW!! I don’t know how We The People go about doing this but it must be done.

    Candidate 0bama courted ACORN and its allies during his election. He stated he would invite them to the White House to set strategy.
    It is a fact 0bama worked for and trained ACORN staffers.
    We now find links to 0bama’s White House from ACORN.
    Why are we surprised?
    Why?
    Nothing we are learning about THE WORST president in U.S. history contradicts anything the candidate espoused, stated or represented.

    We have a chance in 2010 to set things right and in 2012 reverse the damage.

    these seeds where planted long before but took real root beginning in the sixties when draft dodger, left wing anarchists went into the colleges and took over teaching the next generation of teachers, to steal the minds of the young through revisionism. Now these , the next generation of teachers are indoctrinating the very young and not teaching the founding principles or the greatness of this country. family and friends over these many years and wars have sacrificed fortunes, limbs and lives to pass on the greatest values in mankind’s history, its our turn now, or will we cheat the next generations,to come of what we had. Stand-up for the Constitution and Bill of Rights, for real freedom isn’t free!

    Michele You are exactly right! You know when we invaded Iraq, we made a list of 51-52 movers and shakers in Sadam’s inner circle and concentrated our efforts on capturing these people. I think we are at the same juncture with these domestic terrorists and I believe O Bama’s inner circle should be identified, publicly named and placed under the same scrutiny that most of our military has to go through to get a top secret security clearance. Just for the fun of it I, wonder how many czars and W.H. advisory staff would be able to pass the background check. Our military has sworn to protect this country from all enemies foreign and domestic. Well I could be wrong but maybe it’s time for our Generals,FBI,CIA to conduct some high level meetings to discuss the enemy from within.

    And by the way the Democratic party should be held accountable for this security threat they has occured because of their actions. I believe they would literally get in bed with Satan himself to regain power in this nation, and maybe that’s what they have done.
