Obama Administration Condones Sex With Minors. As Long As It Is Just Buggery With the Boys.

Statutory rape? Who cares what goes on between a 15 year old and the man who picked him up in a bus station bathroom. You prude.
At some point we must stop saying that there was a failure to vet these people and conclude that Barack Obama has no more of a problem with men like Kevin Jennings who encourage statutory rape than men like Bill Ayers who encourages cop killing.

People with low IQ got to see Whoopee Goldberg defend Roman Polanski on the View yesterday. Goldberg had no problem with the man filling a thirteen year old girl with alcohol and drugs before raping having sex with her.

I say “people with low IQ” because demographically those are the only people who watch the View save for those few people forced to watch the show as part of their job.

In any event, Goldberg’s blasé attitude about raping having sex with drug filled children and the implications of statutory rape has spilled over into the Obama administration, which is taking the position that statutory rape is of no great consequence and should, if the child consents, be encouraged.

There is no other way to look at Barack Obama’s appointment of Kevin Jennings, the President’s “safe schools czar” who, the Washington Times reports unapologetically encouraged a homosexual relationship between a fifteen year old boy and much older man who, the boy reported to Jennings, picked the boy up in a bus station bathroom and promptly took the boy home.

Considering Jennings wrote about this in his one and only published book and spoke about this prior to his appointment, we can only assume the Obama administration knew about it and has no problem with it.

According to Mr. Jennings’ own description in a new audiotape discovered by Fox News, the 15-year-old boy met the “older man” in a “bus station bathroom” and was taken to the older man’s home that night. When some details about the case became public, Mr. Jennings threatened to sue another teacher who called his failure to report the statutory rape “unethical.”

Jennings’ defenders have claimed he did not know sex was taking place, which is akin to Roman Polanski saying he did not know his victim was underage despite having to get the written consent of the girl’s mother for the photo shoot that fateful night.

Despite the defenders’ defenses, a new audiotape has Jennings bragging about fostering the relationship between the fifteen year old boy and the bus station bathroom man. Jennings bragged that he told the boy “to use a condom,” which suggests Jennings would rather be the “safe sex schools czar.”

Jennings shows no remorse. He delights in encouraging the relationship. And Barack Obama delights in hiring Jennings and shows no remorse either.

At some point we must stop saying that there was a failure to vet these people and conclude that Barack Obama has no more of a problem with men like Kevin Jennings who encourage statutory rape than men like Bill Ayers who encourages cop killing.

Oh, but I may be mistaken about one thing. I wrote above that “there is no other way to look at” this. But there may be. One must wonder if Jennings would have had the same reaction and also encouraged the relationship had it been a fifteen year old girl meeting a man in a bus station restroom. I suspect he would have reacted differently, which raises even more basic and more serious questions about the world view of the men Barack Obama surrounds himself with. After all, the nation is seeking to extradite Roman Polanski, but then his was heterosexual statutory rape.

At least so far

The more and more we dig into this administration’s choice of advisors, czars, and officials, God knows whatever we will find.

That's what Liberalism brings. Moral decay and decadence.

penguin2 Tuesday, September 29th at 4:34PM EDT (link)

The idea that such an act by a pedophile like Polanski and the acceptance of it by Jennings, should be morally repugnant to everyone. The fact that Liberals support and gloss over such perverse acts and give them a pass, just reinforces what Liberalism brings: the destruction of the Moral Compass for society.

None of this surprises me and I am not coming at it from a soapbox. IMO, it is simply the recognition of the deterioration of a value-oriented society. I suspect, that if the Liberals were not in complete power and control right now, they might be dancing around this a little more, perhaps giving the vileness of the acts more lip service. Now that they have achieved so much, which started decades ago in all spheres, socially, politically and spiritually, they don’t have to.

All we can do is to take a stand and call them out on it. Their acceptance of such reprehensible behavior is borne out of their individual loss of a moral compass…called a conscience.

Virtues, NOT Values: The Difference Is Crucial

Ausonius Tuesday, September 29th at 5:04PM EDT (link)

When America stopped teaching the virtues and started talking about types of behavior as economic commodities, we began our descent.

Virtues are absolute: values rise and fall and are exchangeable. Values have been equated with opinions/personal beliefs, and with relativism in play, values

Courage is not a “value” which can be bartered intellectually. Honesty is absolute: its value does not rise and fall with opinions…

…unless you are a Democrat.

Values Become Worthless

…”with relativism in play, values become worthless.”

Missing sentence.

Thanks Ausonius, I was using them interchangeably.

penguin2 Tuesday, September 29th at 5:21PM EDT (link)

I guess in my mind they have always meant the same thing. But I see the importance of the distinction. And when I think of the loss of virtues, well…that makes it even worse.

Values change, Virtues do not. I like the way that sounds.
Thank you.

No Problem: "Virtuous" Comes From "Virtue"

Ausonius Tuesday, September 29th at 5:52PM EDT (link)

But note that “Value” produces no parallel: “Value” generates the adjective “valuable” which again remains an economic term.

I recall how the Clintons always talked about "their values"

ColdWarrior Tuesday, September 29th at 8:29PM EDT (link)

Both Slick Willie and Hillie.

On the campaign trail they’d say over and over they were “fighting” for their “values.” Never mind they never named those values. Nor did any of the Minion Media ever ask them to name them.

Nor, probably, will the Minion Media ever ask them. Or Teleprompter Boy.

Erick’s article displays what Teleprompter Boy values. We know he has no virtues.

This just came to mind:

In case the embed didn’t work, here’s the quote of Commodus from the movie “Gladiator:”

“But I have other virtues father. Ambition. That can be a virtue when it drives us to excel.”

Thank you.

Aren't Pedophiles People Too?

abbynormal Tuesday, September 29th at 4:45PM EDT (link)

It’s only a matter of time before this group, who, after all, can’t help what sexual desire they were born with, is the next group exalted by the left as needing special rights. Aren’t they now a protected group under the Hate Crime bill Congrss recently passed?

If we let the Left keep moving in this direction, in another 5 years, some morning “news” program will have famous Pedophiles on their show talking about the attributes they find most attractive in children; and “enlightened” parents will be taking notes.

Does Mr. Jennings have any children himself?

adriansoto Tuesday, September 29th at 6:13PM EDT (link)

If Mr. Jennings has young sons or daughters, nieces or nephews, young grandchildren or teenage neighbors, does he feel the same way about providing condoms to his young teenage son so that an older man can perform sodomy on him?

I think not. But that’s how radical, left-leaning Democrats think. They really don’t believe in goodness and protection for those who are vulnerable.

Filmmaker Polanski vs. Monsignor Polanski

Vannek Tuesday, September 29th at 6:25PM EDT (link)

David Gibson at PoliticsDaily.com wrote an interesting article asking how the apologists would react if Polanksi were a Catholic priest who molested boys (quote below). In this twisted world of moral relativism, THAT would be an outrage, and the perp would be hounded to the gates of Hell and back. Yet, a liberal, elitist from the Media-Arts Complex like Polanski deserves a pass. What hypocrisy.

“There is the obvious parallel to the cases in the Catholic Church, which have rightly scandalized the public and the media. Prosecutors and plaintiffs’ attorneys have been dogged in pursuing these cases — whether out of concern for their careers or for justice — and the outrage was so widespread that the State of California created a one-year window in 2003 during which the statute of limitations on abuse crimes by Catholic priests (and others) was lifted. That meant the victims of men who were often long dead could finally get their day in court, or find some sense of justice and closure — and for cases that were no more egregious than Polanski’s abuse of Geimer. Polanski is alive, at least. Comparisons are by their nature invidious. But what if Roman Polanksi were wearing a Roman collar? Would ‘Monsignor Polanksi’ receive the same considerations?”

Liberals long ago abandoned the principle of blind (i.e. impartial) justice

civil_truth Tuesday, September 29th at 7:04PM EDT (link)

It’s all about who was the perpetrator and who was the victim, and only secondarily whether or not the accused is guilty.

The response (exculpation vs. condemnation) depends entirely upon what identity group each falls into as well as their prominence and political persuasion - and the political consequences.

And moral relativism provides the easy escape from logic and salve for their seared consciences.

Thanks to Herbert Marcuse. Of course you might think they are following Socrates’ prescription of a philosopher-king acting as dictator over the state, with civic worship of the king, and aristocratic privileges and aristocratic laws for the leftist intellectuals. But at the bottom of all of it, they are just rectal-cranial inverts.

but this situation with Jennings only elicits disgust. The moral depravity of this administration seems to know no bounds. The only consolation is that the American public is waking up to this modern day Roman emperor, not Ceasar, but Nero.

More troubling questions...

songspiritusa Wednesday, September 30th at 3:06PM EDT (link)

Like it or not, homosexuality is marketed to us as the poor, lonely, suicidal teenager confused about his sexuality in a world which hatefully, and under some deluded religious disguise, won’t allow said young person the “freedom” to be what he or she is.

The reality is that a whole lot of very evil people are intentionally exploiting this agenda as a way to divert criticism back onto the critic.

It’s not that men who have sex with each others are even “homosexual,” however you see that term. What they are, are people with no moral boundaries, sex merely being one more thing they use and exploit.

This is what at least some of these men advising Barack Obama are. Michele Obama - as long as she supports this fraud - is welcomed. But if Michele Obama or someone she cared for ever stood up, she would find out what’s going on. Not that she would stand up, as these people depend upon her alleged Jackie-O-ness in the marketing of this manipulation of the American public.

I am constantly amazed that too many will not ascribe ill intentions, of equal justice and opportunity for all AS REQUIRED UNDER THE CONSTITUTION, to the power mongers of whatever party. This country once directly killed over 600,000 of its own people in the interests of property and power, violating its own Constitution to do so. That was nearly 150 years ago, and we still have not learned that lesson.

Not only have we elected a President who is a Marxist, but, it would appear, he is also a man who lacks any sense of decency or morality. What else can you conclude?

for your generous contributions over the years to the moral decay existing in America today. What more do you expect from Hollywood liberals than inane statements about matters of importance for the rest of society. Whoopee and those like her typify a level of consciousness and quality of character that bring success in a world of make believe but fall short in real life.

Movie stars and politicians are very much alike when they reach the top of their game and realize it was all an act.

NOT an endorsement of statutory rape

diogenes79 Friday, October 2nd at 1:08PM EDT (link)

The Obama administration nor any of its members endorses gay statutory rape:

http://whitehouse.blogs.foxnews.com/2009/09/30/dept-of-education-statements-on-1988-incident-involving-safe-school-czar-kevin-jennings/

Basically, Kevin Jennings had one meeting with a student in which he tried to handle a situation that had already happened that involved sex. Yes, he should’ve asked more questions, and brought in appropriate authorities. However, that admitted mistake is nowhere even remotely close to an endorsement of gay statutory rape. First, he was talking to the student about an incident that’d already happened, NOT encouraging anything in the future. Rather, he is saddened to see a gay student resorting to a bathroom for sex. Second, the quote about the condom is truncated in a completely misleading way. The full quote below speaks to both of these points:

JENNINGS: I said, “What were you doing in Boston on a school night, Brewster?” He got very quiet, and he finally looked at me and said, “Well, I met somebody in the bus station bathroom and I went home with him.” High school sophomore, 15 years old. That was the only way he knew how to meet gay people. I was a closeted gay teacher, 24 years old, didn’t know what to say. Knew I should say something quickly, so I finally — my best friend had just died of AIDS the week before — I looked at Brewster and said, “You know, I hope you knew to use a condom.” He said to me something I will never forget. He said “Why should I, my life isn’t worth saving anyway.”

What Hollywood says is good is good

engineer4america Friday, October 2nd at 8:38PM EDT (link)

What is not always clearly said is that the Mainstream Media, SAG and the AMAS is saying is We are gods, we set the standard and what we say is right, is right, and what we say is wrong, is wrong. And since they do not recognize that there is a heaven, or a hell or a god other than themselves then in their eyes they are right. They will find out just how right they are on judgment day. As for me and my home we will serve the Lord Jesus. They can serve Lord Voldomort-Obama
